Now that it’s legal, can those previously arrested and subsequently imprisoned be released. It’s only fair. Those in prison are being discriminated against. It ‘s the only fair thing to do

Usually, those who have gone to jail recently have been dealer/pushers. Normal consumers get slaps on the wrist and are let go.

I have a hard time blaming any inanimate substance for sins of volition and think that doctors should have more leeway to prescribe even risky drugs, with condign precautions being taken. But the world of pushers as it was, was an ugly world. They were rarely only permissive in philosophy; they took measures to get their clients to use drugs unhealthily, which should always be deemed wrong. So it’s hard to see a blanket pardon for pushing either. It is one of those messy things that happens when public policy changes.
