An Iranian vice-president on Tuesday responded dismissively to Israel's objections to a looming nuclear deal, claiming Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu does not have much influence.
"I don't think (Netanyahu's voice) carries much weight,"said Massoumeh Ebtekar, who is vice-president for environmental affairs [snip] "They are making their efforts to derail the deal but I think the more logical lobbies on both sides are looking forward to a solution," she claimed.
Ebtekar, whose country is the leading state sponsor of terrorism and has rapidly expanded its control in the region, claimed "the current threats in the region - the radicalism, extremism, terrorism - this all calls for a resolution of the issue and a stronger role for Iran."
In his speech, Netanyahu warned that Iran is an Islamist regime aiming for regional domination, and that the deal being formed would leave it with the ability to create nuclear weapons rapidly at the time of its choosing. He also noted the regime has directly threatened to destroy Israel.
Ebtekar said the main sticking point in the negotiations with world powers was the speed at which sweeping sanctions would be removed. "It is and it has been from the beginning," she said.
"These sanctions have been illegal, they are unjust. They are also adversely affecting not only our environment because they are impeding our access to new technologies to curb pollution, but also the global environment," she stated.

The wording was lost somewhere in translaton. The Iranians meant to say flatuance not influence.
Netanyahu has just made it virtually impossible to sign a deal with the mullahs that leaves their nuclear infrastructure intact and functional. May be wrong but after reading Obama’s interview yesterday with Reuters, have the impression that he is backing off.
Bibi made Obama, and his pro-Muslim ilk, look like what they are.
How refreshing it was to see a REAL STATESMAN AND LEADER stand before the House and make his point WITHOUT HAVING TO TELL A STRING OF LIES to sell his point.
