The Justice Department has cleared a Ferguson, Mo., police officer of civil rights violations in the shooting of Michael Brown, a black teenager whose death set off racially charged and sometimes violent protests last year.
The decision, which was announced on Wednesday, ends a lengthy investigation into the shooting last August, in which Officer Darren Wilson shot and killed Mr. Brown in the street. Many witnesses said Mr. Brown had his hands up in surrender when he died, leading to nationwide protest chants of “Hands up, don’t shoot.”
But federal agents and civil rights prosecutors rejected that story, just as a state grand jury did in November. The Justice Department said forensic evidence and other witnesses backed up the account of Officer Wilson, who said Mr. Brown fought with him, reached for his gun, then charged at him. He told investigators that he feared for his life.
“There is no evidence upon which prosecutors can rely to disprove Wilson’s stated subjective belief that he feared for his safety,” the report said.

Of course the doj has found that the FPD has widespread racial animosity and has been ‘targeting’ non-whites for years. Now, if the FPD feels offended, I suggest that the force resign and bid farewell to Ferguson and seek employment someplace else. Here ya go looters. Of course that might prompt intervention from somewhere outside of Mo. to take place.

This is what’s provoking Holder, $harpton, et al, into calling for the lowering of standards in proving “hate crimes”.
But then, that’s the way the left always play it, when they lose, or face a tough competitor - and can’t cheat - they just call for lowerering the bar, and then invoke “racism” in case of a tie.
Having to admit that must have burned their arses like a hot poker....................

Obamalaw. Daily Caller had a article on it a couple days ago. They will change the law.
Findings merely documentation for O’s national/private police force.
This has got to be sticking in the collective throats of the fascists running the DOJ.
But they succeeded in destroying the man’s life. He’ll never be able to be a policeman again and will have to be looking over his shoulder every day of his life.
Officer Wilson barely survived the encounter. His treatment by the police department and the government afterward is disgraceful.
