The world is sending us a message. We’re all “girlymen” to them now. We’re getting ready to get our asses kicked. Thanks Barry!!!

Weird. I felt safe at any time, night or day, in Seoul or elsewhere and back then it was a semi-third-world country. Safer than here.

Welcome to Obama’s fundamentally transformed world.

1965-66 ... drunker'n JIT ... stumbling "home" to the 51st .... picked up by a taxi of some sort and dropped off at the gate ... woke up stinkin' of puke in my bunk and all my wallet, money and et cetera still there
Last thing I remember was drinkin' BangYang whiskey in a bar with a whore
I NEVER felt insecure or threatened .... actually, I think the South Koreans still had some respectful love for us GI's at that time

Mrs. Puppage said almost the same thing this evening. No one fears us.....it’s open season on America.

"Aww dangit.. I looked up ambassador and not envoy...sorry." Well, of course they're not the same thing at all!
Ambassadors were full-size cars built by American Motors up until 1974. And Envoys are SUVs built by GMC...

I think we had a company of your battalion across the street from my barracks at Red Cloud. My best friend from my 1978-79 tour was one of them. He was a crazy Ohioan from Xenia. I looked up your battalion crest and that’s what was on their sign. I was with I Corps G-2 in that bunker above the camp.

Ya know, American men have often been viewed as “frontier men” or “a man’s man”. Who thinks that way anymore? When you say American, the first thought that comes to you is now “Pajama Boy”

I can't tell you how much I appreciate that photo
Over the years, two fires and some moving mis-steps ... I have nothing of my past
Those guys ain't me, but that IS my company
Thank you .... been staring at it for a half an hour
