Probably true, but it never stopped Obama. Seriously, he wrote about high school and college drug use, is the son of a foreigner who worked for some armpit socialist government in Kenya and a woman who spent her life advocating for socialist causes in Indonesia, for unknown reasins traveled to Pakistan as a young man, and as a US Senator interfered in Kenya’s democratic process. Oh yeah - there are allegations he’s gay (Sinclair).
In 1988 I got the most basic clearance - Secret. I remember the background questionaire, which would have touched on all Barry’s flaws...including the gay accusations. Back then somebody like Barry couldn’t touch a radio...now he’s president. I’m sure Hillary will get the same pass.

As an aside, although this scandal, at least so far, doesn't directly impact Bill, if it did I predict he'd be pointing to the law's final clause as his out. The draft dodger would be claiming status as a retired officer with the rank of Commander in Chief. Many Freepers will recall the precedant for that.
Agreed. It is so tacky and unprofessional. I can’t believe people in professional, political or managerial positions “tweet”. It seems juvenile and just annoys me.

If this were an ordinary peon citizen the FBI would have conducted a no-knock dynamic entry at 0-Dark Thirty a couple of hours after it was learned that she had her own server.

You are probably right that she will get a pass, but she has clearly shown and demonstrated that she cannot handle or be trusted to handle government data that is regulated by law.
If they give her clearance, then there is absolutely no purpose for any such clearance to be necessary or even exist.
But the downside is, after the smoke clears, and the alarm is silenced, the Donkees have a chance to choose a more electable nominee.

When Blumenthal did covered that his account had been hacked...what did he do?
Did he go to the FBI and report it? Or did he keep his mouth closed in the hopes that it would all go away?
The fact that we are hearing about this from the NY Times leads me to believe that he kept his mouth shut, even though a hacker had gotten top secret information off his computer.
