WITNESSES TO MICHAEL BROWN SHOOTING FEARED CONTRADICTING ‘HANDS UP, DON’T SHOOT’ NARRATIVE
Breitbart ^ | March 4, 2015 | by JOHN SEXTON

Posted on 03/04/2015 10:59:45 PM PST by Jim Robinson

According to an 86-page report issued by the Department of Justice, six of the most credible witnesses to the shooting of Michael Brown were afraid to give testimony in support of Ferguson, MO, police officer Darren Wilson, because they knew it would undercut the “Hands up, don’t shoot” narrative being advanced by their neighbors and, eventually, by the media.

Several expressed concern for their safety should they choose to contradict that narrative publicly. As one witness noted, there were signs in the neighborhood reading “snitches get stitches.”

The fear experienced by witnesses to the incident is a constant refrain in the DOJ report. Witness 102 (numbers are used to identify the witnesses rather than names) is described as a “27-year-old bi-racial male.” The report describes why witness 102 left the scene a few minutes after the shooting:

Witness 102 did not stay on Canfield Drive long after the shooting, but rather started to leave the area after about five minutes because he felt uncomfortable. According to Witness 102, crowds of people had begun to gather, wrongly claiming the police shot Brown for no reason and that he had his hands up in surrender. Two black women approached Witness 102, mobile phones set to record, asking him to recount what he had witnessed. Witness 102 responded that they would not like what he had to say. The women responded with racial slurs, calling him names like “white m*f*er.”

Witness 102 eventually presented himself to authorities because he was worried “witnesses would not come forward to tell the truth in this case because of community pressure.” The nature of that community pressure is made clear in the remainder of the report. Witness 103—a 58-year-old black male—”expressed concerns because there were signs in the neighborhood of Canfield Drive stating, “snitches get stitches.”

I’ll watch and snicker at the reactions of the major network anchors when they have to read this story!

Oops, never going to happen. Besides, it’s tough to change someone’s mind after months of pounding the “truth” into them. Easy to believe you’re a victim, much tougher to take some responsibility amid mob intimidation.

IIRC there were Congressmen doing the “Hands up, don’t shoot” meme on the floor of the House. If we only had an opposition party to the Democrat Party, there would be ads targeting every one of those tools.

Wouldn’t it be nice for a majority of black people to understand that race-baiting does NOTHING to advance black people? Wake up, people, that race-baiting is about keeping them down—keeping them on the plantation where they will remain poor, uneducated, and voting Democrat.

Why are so many minorities so eager to let themselves be used by politicians seeking power?

The “don’t snitch” culture never ceases to amaze me at how evil they really are.

Blacks pick bad role models to celebrate.

He is only interested in insisting white people are racist, not the other way around.

According to Holder (and most of the race baiting folks) there is no such thing as reverse-racism. It’s not possible for it to exist. Seriously, they have all sorts of twisted “logic” that explains it.

If I were the sole decider on immigration and deportation, I would take a hard-working, God-fearing illegal immigrant any day over the lazy, permanently p!ssed off and entitled members of the Af-ri-can—American community, who I would send one-way back to their ancestral roots in Africa.

Darren Wilson should never have lost his job over this. He was forced out because this country is being run by community agitators and racists. It’s a shame the hell this man has had to go through just because he was doing his job. Michael Brown got what he deserved.

On the flip side, he's now free to begin a new life. If he had stayed at Ferguson as a cop, he would have been in the sights of any number of thugs and would have either been killed or been raked over the coals for defending himself. It sucks, but it's best for him to move on despite the inconvenience.

If the people of Ferguson really cared they’d riot again.

Unfortunately we peasants don't get to make those decisions and the myth of the hard working, polite illegal is just that, a myth.

The vast majority of those coming in are gibmedats, who, if they work, will work under the table while collecting welfare, their daughters, in school and pregnant, theirs sons, in jail. Their boyfriends are in gangs in competition with the likes of the Michael Browns and they will all soon be registered to vote.

Nice ladies. No wonder there is such a high percentage of arrests of blacks. I see people like this regularly in little old Harrisburg. They walk in the middle of street, jay walk, stare "whitey" down and generally act uncivilized. No wonder they can't hold down a job for four years. (that's a joke)

In spite of this Obama still wants to Federlize the police force. He sAys they need to be trained on how to handle minorities and protected classes.

If the Fed gov’t didn’t get tax money that they turn around and use to manipulate local police and schools this wouldn’t happen. It’s not constitutional.

Myself, I am embarrassed to say that I am not a very brave person, so I don't know what I would do if I was caught up in the same terrible situation. My immediate thought would be this one: What terrible things could happen to my family if I testified publicly that the "Hands Up. Don't shoot" story was not correct? If I am ever caught up in such a dangerous situation, I hope that God gives me the courage to follow my conscience and tell the truth, no matter how painful it would be to do so.

This is why people don't want to live anywhere near 'the black community' John. You get it.

People living in black inner city hellholes have to make that choice all the time. "Do I snitch and risk it - or go along to get along?" Dreadful choices.

Black culture's been hijacked by criminals and thugs. If Holder wanted to help his people he would address this type of black thuggery - and get off the backs of police officers attempting to 'father' the victims in these communities.
