Chuck Schumer wants to do just that. It sounds oh so reasonable, right?

U.S. Sen. Charles Schumer is calling for passage of legislation prohibiting individuals on the U.S. terrorist watch list from buying guns.

The New York Democrat noted the arrests this week of three Brooklyn men on charges they conspired to join ISIS in Syria or carry out attacks at home. If they were on the terrorist watch list, the bill Schumer’s backing would have prohibited them from buying firearms or explosives.

Given that Obola’s DHS Secretary has named military veterans and people who have Republican bumper stickers as potential terrorists...

Nothing Chuck Schumer does or says is reasonable. Nothing.

Some of what he says may APPEAR reasonable on its face, but there is ALWAYS a tail - a vile, disgusting, leftist, anti-freedom tail - attached to anything and everything he says and does.

I have yet to find any RPGs at a gun show. What’s up with that? For such a “free” people, Americans really don’t have nearly as neat toys as the average raghead. I feel deprived.

prohibiting individuals on the U.S. terrorist watch list

Key point: Who manages the list?
As a Vet, I may be on it.
As a conservative, I may be on it.
As a WASP I may be on it.

No, thank you.

If you aren’t on it now pass this law and you will be as will the rest of us.

Ted Kennedy was once on the terrorist watch list.

OK bad example.

Why would a terrorist pay for something Obama appears to be giving them for free?

Notice that the article says “if” they were on the watch list. Well, Chucky, were they on it or not? Your entire argument rests on important information that you conveniently left out. Of course, when you’re really trying to deprive upstanding citizens of their rights, I guess that really doesn’t matter.

” I have a better idea, arrest or kill them.”

Yeah, and we wouldn’t have any terrorists here, if Obama hadn’t brought them in here as “refugees” and opened the borders for everyone to walk through.

Another feel-good bill to solve a non-problem.

As Rush said recently, Dems have plenty of solutions for non-problems but no solutions for this countries real problem, like ISIS taking over the middle East.

Exactly right - all the other laws designed to keep guns out of the hands of criminals has worked so well.....

They keep trying to find "reasonable cause" to further suppress the Freedom of the People that one instinctively knows what the real agenda is.

With all due respect. I don't think you get the context here.
Essentially they could put anyone on the "Terrorist Watch List" that they choose.
Such as all NRA Members or People who have an account on the Free Republic Website who post comments that are critical of the current Administration.
