This week, the Department of Justice released a scathing report on the Ferguson Police Department, finding not only a preponderance of racially-charged emails but also systematic discrimination against African-Americans, who received more than 90% of the city’s arrests, citations and jaywalking tickets, despite making up just 67% of the population.
When the topic came up on The View Thursday morning, it was not only liberal hosts like Whoopi Goldberg speaking out against them, but also conservative commentator Nicolle Wallace, who strongly denounced the culture of that Missouri city.
“Because officers are people, you’re going to get boneheads, and they’re going to slip through the cracks,” Goldberg said. “There are amazing cops out there. But you know what? Now that we know that this actually does exist, that it’s not just playing the race card, that this actually does exist, maybe we’ll be a little more careful about who gets the damn job.”
“What’s startling is how programmatic and systematic it was. This was financial,” Wallace said, taking things even further. “They were funding city government functions on the backs of lower-income African-American residents of the town. They created, in effect, a debtor’s prison,” she added, citing the damning statistics.
“I don’t ever worry about getting a ticket for jaywalking,” Wallace said. “But if you’re black in Ferguson, you should be very scared, terrified!”
Goldberg predicted we would be dealing with situations like this one “for the rest of our lives” because “people learn racism.” She said, “It’s not something you’re born with. So as long as people are teaching it, it’s going to be there.”

Stop chasing this squirrel, people. There’s a reason why this report was released in the aftermath of Netanyahu’s beat-down of the Obola administration.
One left out piece of information from the DOJ “study” is how many of those busted were repeat offenders? In my little city you see the same idiots arrested for the same crime over and over. Most of the crime is committed by the same group of people who are strung out on meth or the drunks.
If you are white in Ferguson you are a minority!

Nothing scares me now.
What I heard on NPR was shocking.
She claimed it was racist to be fined for not paying their fines.
A woman from Ferguson was being interviewed. She claimed it is impossible to keep up with the warrants.
NO mention of actually not breaking the law. No one even tried to dispute it.
If you are unhappy with the place you live, you are free to move somewhere else.
Just don’t expect me to pay for it.

Gee Nicole, my takeaway was that if you are black in Gerguson, you’re probably part of the problem.
Ferguson is 70% black, and if the reign of terror that was Michael Brown is any indication, or if the blatantly racist and wrong hands up don’t shoot mantra is any indication, black folks in Ferguson are already racist.
The fear of the six witnesses whose story went against the template shows that the racism and criminal element was endemic in the black community, not the white community.
The white cop, Darrell Wilson, was absolved of ALL charges, even by the DOJ.
His attempted murderer was unavailable for comment.

Rage based racism...appears to be what set the FUSE in Ferguson
Why? Because a community that is 2/3 black commits 85% of the crimes? Is criminal behavior based on race? If you have a community that is 2/3 black only being charged with 2/3 of the crimes wouldn’t that be racial profiling?

She needs to get out a little more. Who has experienced the slow shuffle in front of your car by a couple of scowling youths. Who has witnessed morons running across 6 lane highways, and did you notice they always look similar. If you seen any of these phenomenons please raise your hand.
If the majority of the residents are black it would stand to reason that there would be more arrests of black people. Just as if the city was made up of all women except for 2 men it would be likely more women would be arrested when there is more of one demographic at least that is the way it seems to me.
2010 census: Black = 67 %
And they collected millions in traffic stops from these poor black people.
Something doesn’t compute here.
