The Atlantic wants Carson to stay in the race so that they can beat their chests and shout about how the Republicans are full of witchcraft and witch doctors. The motives of a leftist are all about making sure that their stereotypes of those who disagree with them have a straw person to keep it alive. That being said, the questions asked to Carson were a bait and trap anyways.
The only interesting take I see nowadays is that it’s okay to blame something else for programming your behavior rather than own up to your responsibility for it. They even justified incest between a daughter and her biological father. I don’t care if something makes your father attractive to you, don’t do it with him. I just can’t understand how the media guys make excuses for that.
If we ever want candidates who are truly citizens from the real world, we need to back off and expect them to stumble.
Otherwise, you are going to get slicked up, well groomed packaged performers as candidates, who may tickle your ears, snow your vanity and generally make you giddy, but who are political hacks, betrayers and who have perfected the LIE.
Carson deserves some space. He is very honest and plain spoken and does not want one spear in the chest to knock him out this soon. He wants to recover and to be able to create a more expansive answer to a question meant to knock him out.

Homosexuality is a choice, and where not a choice it is a disease that compromises an individuals ability to preform one of the essence functions of life, Namely procreate.
This is an ill-refutable scientific fact, that even liberal ‘scientist’ struggle to ignore, cover up, or deny.
We should never carry their lies for them. That does not however mean that we are attacking the victims as they almost always claim we are.
The dirty little truth that they seem to hasty ignore is that nobody who suffers from this diseases is being denied the ability to enter the convent & contract of marriage on that account.
Nor are any of theses people asking for that convent which they already have access to, instead they want something entirely different with the same ‘benefits’ and specifically name as if to confuse not only the law but the people as well.
When you think about this request its really not much different legally than to demand that your cell phone or employment contract be declare a mortgage with the same qualities and tax benefits tho they are very different kinds of contracts, even if they do share a few things in common. It is a nonsensical request in truth built upon a faulty understanding of the nature of said contracts.
Yet our elustriously confusing and ever contracting ‘legal community’ has somehow convinced themselves that they are the same on the grounds that they share a few qualities in common. Well frankly the same could be said of almost any contract, are the federal employees going to declare that they all have the same clauses, names, terms, and benefits?
Indeed the effect of such a deceleration would be to destroy federal Government support of contract law and probably most of our economy along with. Why should abolition of marriage in overwriting it’s essence attributes be any different to family over the long run?

Homosexuality is genetic and determined, there is nothing that will change a person’s homosexuality, can’t be done, ever... If you try to Teach/treat a homosexual not to be homosexual you damage their psyche in horrible ways!
If, however, you are part of the 98% who presumably are genetically determined heterosexuals and some substantial percentage which is revolted by homosexuality—presumably also a genetically determined trait, it is imperative that the government institute learning and educational programs to modify your genetically determined outlook of homosexuality!
