Right. They have held private meetings with publicly named witnesses. No computer geeks that I’ve seen.
They way these hearings typically work is the witness, almost never under oath, is given the questions ahead and there are written answers. Then the transcript is mostly followed in the public meeting.
According to this article, “republicans” created this committee. And here I thought it was the United States Congress.

I wonder if the beast could have set up a cheap, accessible server for a diversion, only to have set up a more sophisticated second server ( could be set up anywhere in the world) for the secretary of state communications. You are correct. I still vote but only for those I think deserve my vote but......I never ever expect ANYTHING good from any politician on any level. If you don’t expect anything you’re never disappointed. And, I realized a long time ago that my opinions are irrelevant to them.

Seriously, as someone who managed my own web server in my home it was nice to be able to manage the whole thing when I wanted. And the best part was that to avoid hackers...you simply unplugged it when you were not using it. About as safe as you get.
