Senator Corker should have pointed out that Kerry himself has a history of undermining US foreign policy and asked about his meetings with the North Vietnamese while we were at war.
Obama also met with al-Maliki before his inauguration while Bush was finalizing the SOFA with Iraq, at which time Obama reminded them that Bush wasn’t going to be in charge in a few months. But THAT wasn’t against precedence??!!?
I thought he had no cojones, but it takes some to get up and make a statement like that in light of his own history.
How does he live with himself? If I had to do that, the cognitive dissonance would make my head explode.
