Over half (54 percent) of Republicans, 26 percent of independents, and 10 percent of Democrats, when asked in a recent poll which religion describes President Obama's "deep down" beliefs, said he is Muslim. The poll was conducted in October 2014, by Alex Theodoridis of the University of California at Merced and released in February. Choices included Muslim, Christian, atheist, spiritual, or "I don't know." While 45 percent of Democrats said Obama is Christian, his stated belief, only 18 percent of independents and 9 percent of Republicans agreed. Many also responded "don't know" – i.e., 47 percent of independents, 26 percent of Democrats, and 19 percent of Republicans.

Recently, the sincerity of Obama's Christianity also came into question when his longtime advisor and confidant David Axelrod, in his book Believer, revealed that the president for years lied in proclaiming he opposed gay marriage because of his Christian faith. In fact, wrote Axelrod, Obama was a supporter of same-sex marriage for years before the 2008 election, but Axelrod advised him to conceal that fact because "opposition to gay marriage was particularly strong in the black church."

Those seeking clues to the president's "deep down" loyalty may find them in his stubborn refusal to call "Islamic terrorism" what the whole world knows it is. His insistence that the "Islamic State is not Islamic" may be the silliest artifice ever devised to distinguish "normal Muslims" from the fanatics. We all know that most Muslims don't behead people; the president simply protests too much. But when he tells us, "Islam has been woven into the fabric of our country since its founding," mass head-shaking ensues.

Obama’s only religious instruction was in Indonesia where he went to a Muslim school and memorized the Koran....hence his ability to quote the Muslim prayers with a nearly flawless Arabic accent. While I doubt he was a practicing Muslim, he likely was not raised in any Christian religious tradition by his grandparents while in Hawaii. His attending Rev. Wright’s “church” he could hardly be called Christian listening to antisemitic and anti American rants laced with Black Muslim theology.
I believe he is a very confused homosexual Muslim/BLT (black liberation theologist) communist, but the safe answer would be “I don’t know” when it comes to polls like this.
I am sure most of the “I don’t knows” have strong suspicions... and I am sure many of the “he is Christian”, just say it reflexively to avoid controversy.
The evidence is overwhelming that he is not Christian.

EXACTLY RIGHT! He’s no more “Muslim” than he is “Christian”. He worships at the alter of himself. He’s no more Muslim than a catholic - who only attends mass on Christmas - is a Christian. Doesn’t work that way. To ascribe Islam unto B-HO is to not understand the perverted nature and danger of that theocracy and its true followers. B-HO is simply a ‘tool’.

I once heard him say with my own ears that his “salvation depended upon the collective salvation of everyone.” This was all I needed to hear to convince me that he is not a Christian. Nothing is more individual than one’s salvation.
I also heard him thank presidential candidate John McCain for not making his Muslim faith an issue in their campaign. He said it during an interview with George Stephanopoulos. And the previous poster was correct. GS quickly corrected him, and Obama said he meant his Christian faith. GS was editing Obama’s speach to protect Obama from further reactions from the public.

The label of Christian is often used by many who do not hold to even basic Biblical Christian beliefs and values.
Obama loves Jesus as much as he loves America, freedom, and the Constitution. I have no doubt on whether Barack Hussein Obama is Christian.
I think he is an almost agnostic with a Muslim and black theology racism base.

However I think hes more Sunni, but you’re correct in saying that its nothing he hasn’t elevated himself above regardless of where he would permit himself to be placed, and it is a useful tool to further his Marxist ambitions above that system to empower the state, (think biblical beast) and to diminish those freedoms (and the wealth) of the USA that stands in the way of his forcing this desired change,
But I would also say this, I take another angle here and one that’s fascinating (to me at least) because in many ways we can begin to see how things still to come, to be fulfilled prophecy-wise might be, and how complete they can be described and subtle and almost in a manner of appearing contradictory and yet still are exaclty true, and here we are with a very good example before us of what this may ultimately look like,
Not that this person is the final embodiment of that evil thing that we’re told is coming, and this one doesn’t have the intelligence for that role in my opinion, but only to say here is how it might be accomplished when it does finally appear and being able to see it now in a much lesser degree might provide useful insights later on,
What am I talking about?
We’re told that at the end of the age, that someone was coming that would “obtain the kingdom through flatteries” (think being elected to office, not born to power) that he would not honor the ‘god of his fathers’ (think swearing in for the office of President, recall how both times it was ‘accidentally’ screwed up on purpose and exactly why was this done?) that he would instead show (himself) that he is above them, that he would come to power not by anything he’s accomplished, hardly, (a not very successful community organizer/part-time lackadaisical Senator) but that Satan would give him his seat and power and great authority and that he would however honor “the god of forces” (fortresses) and that he would be regarded as “lawless” (think of how many articles ascribing this character trait to him there has been and how many politicians can we recall before him) and yet still somehow at the same time he would be admired and virtually worshiped by his devotees/followers, (think halos around his head on Time/Newsweek covers, having every conceivable award thrown in his lap, Nobel peace prize even a Grammy, and leg tingling Matthews like sycophants etc.) that “through peace he would destroy many” how many nations in the middle east have started burning since his 2009 Egypt speech, or that he would like to strike from his hold/lair (think drone missions with hellfire missiles ordered deployed from the situation room in the west wing of the White House, “who can make war” with that as individuals?) and that he would seek to share intelligence/support to those that would deny the covenant of Israels right to the land - (think Herozg/Livni dividing Jerusalem should they obtain power and perhaps even with his outside interference in a few weeks) and that he would have problems with the King of the North (think Syria and or Russia with Cyprus) and the King of the South (Egypt that now hates him) etc. etc.,
There are many more examples that we might learn something from, patterns repeat and will again until their fulfilled,
