I’ve put enough time in to read around fifty to sixty pages of this.
First, it reads like a thesis....not something that you’d vote upon or turn into some type of law. Hint, notice the citations at the bottom of each page.
Second, I’m not sure of what the angle is on this deal....but the only folks who really care about government regulations over this....would be the data-streaming folks (Netflix, Amazon, etc). They all see the cable TV empire and big three empire dissolving by 2025. Data streaming will be “IT”. And the only way to get this high speed sales item up for sale? You need government intervention to speed up the lines around the US. Who would pay for it? Well...you the consumer.
Third. Maybe I’m the only one thinking this....but I suspect as fast as the government might think they can regulate the internet....it’ll just dissolve into something else and go past the regulation. Regulations were well within place to control Hillary’s email, and you can easily see how swiftly and effectively she slide around all those regulations.
Fourth and final. I suspect that the FCC agenda crowd (three of the five members)....will all be replaced with the first term of the President Walker (I assume at this point). Do you really think the new appointees will dump this neutrality agenda? They will simply point it off in a different direction and keep it going.
I hope Walker DOES become president.
that would fix a lot. this is why I suspect they are lowering the gasoline prices to improve the economy and get people with more money in their hands so that they vote a democrat in 2016. mark my words gasoline /oil will skyrocket aFTER the 2016 election
