Aaron Stark, (7, in the second grade at Haycock Elementary School in Fairfax County, Virginia) asks Governor Scott walker some questions about climate change at the 2015 CPAC convention.
-----:35 Video
Little boy walks up to ask Gov. Walker a question.
Gov. Scott Walker leans down to listen.
Aaron: "If you were president, what would you do about climate change?"
Walker: "What would I do about that? Well you know I was a boy scout, and always thought maybe campsites should be cleaner when we leave than when we found it, so I'd try to work with people that care about that issue to make sure we have a better place when we leave than when we found it."
Aaron: "Do you care about climate change?"
Walker: "Ultimately to me, I want to make sure we have all the natural resources [garbled] as possible moving forward, just like I've done for everyone in Wisconsin. Okay?"
Then Scott Walker shakes Aaron's hand and leaves.
Since it isn't damning, I suspect a lot of "thought" went into when and if to release it.
But it started making the rounds yesterday with headlines and "reports" like this:
Watch: 7-Year-Old Makes Scott Walker Crash and Burn With 2 Questions
"His first question made him look dumb. The second one made him look even worse.
When second grader Aaron Stark went up to ask Republican Wisconsin a question in this newly released video, the Governor had no idea that he was about to be made to look like an absolute fool by the young, but very astute young man:
If you were president, what would you do about climate change?, the young man asked the Republican governor.
Trying to keep his composure, Scott Walker evaded the simple question, giving the boy an unintelligible answer about being a Boy Scout and keeping campsites clean, but the brave young man pressed on:
Do you even care about climate change?
At this point, the governor continued to crash and burn, giving a second unintelligible answer about securing natural resources for everyone, completely evading the boys question and exposing himself as the intellectual lightweight and political fraud that he is.
Its truly sad that one a young Wisconsinite try to ask his governor about saving his future and that of other young kids, the governor couldnt even answer his question.
Kudos to the brave 7-year-old for exposing his fossil fuel-obsessed governor."
He should have told him that when elected, “the seas would recede...”
Yeah, 7-year-olds are able to have deep discussions about political issues. I love kids, but I probably would’ve answered the kid in the same way. It’s a waste of time to do otherwise. Furthermore, whoring out your kids (politically) to “make political points” is messed up. Does anyone honestly expect an adult to answer such a young child in technical terms?
Oh yes, much better answer if you want to impress the Green Climate Church crowd.
: )
Hey, Aaron. Next time, have your parents ask King Canute why he won’t command the ocean to stop washing away your sandcastles. You could videorecord the whole thing.

Video: Falls Church, Virginia Second Grader Far, Far Smarter than Scott Walker

"Right-wingnut Gov. Scott Walker is not the brightest bulb on a wide range of issues, including of course energy and the environment. Here, he's asked by Haycock Elementary School (Falls Church, Virginia) second grader Aaron Stark what he'd do about climate change. Walker starts out ok, with the Boy Scout/campfire metaphor, but then Aaron follows up, much more skillfully than the Chuck Todds of the world ever do, by asking Walker point blank, "Do you CARE about climate change?" That's when Walker goes off the rails, as he starts talking to a second grader in Republican talking points about "ultimately" having "all the natural resources...as possible to move forward" blah blah blah. I mean, this really isn't complicated: if you're asked this question, certainly by a second grader, the answer is going to be pretty simple, that I care a lot, that this is a huge threat, and that we have to do something about it now! Of course, Walker couldn't do that because: a) he probably doesn't believe it; b) he's bought and paid for by the Koch brothers and other fossil fuel interests; and c) he's busy pandering for support from the crazy, science-denying, environment-trashing Republican base. Anyway, great job by Aaron, who I'd recommend as a replacement for any number of Sunday talk show hosts. :)"

The Left has reached a new low.
Now they are using their own children as political pawns.
Aaron: “If you were president, what would you do about climate change?”
Gov. Walker: “As a former boy scout, be prepared. Have an umbrella when it rains, and bundle up when it’s cold. Mother Nature calls the shots on climate; she has been since time immemorial.”
It's not a "new" low -- they've always been this low. Remember Amy Carter's fears about nooc-u-lar war?
OK!! Everybody pay attention!
Lesson for today:
1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.
2. The sun is a ball of fire that controls the climates of all its planets.
3. The earth is one of the suns planets.
4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.
5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.
Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?
Son, your parents dont love you if they have been lying to you about manmade climate change. You see, global warming is and cooling depends on the temperature of the sun, and nothing man does can prevent that, because the sun is bright, unlike your parents taping this. Read everything you can son, because your folks are leading you down a road of ignorance and slavery.
: ) : )
Walker is an Eagle Scout so he knows to "Be Prepared!"
“.... Remember Amy Carter’s fears about nooc-u-lar war? “
A blast from the past!
The Left don't want no stinkin' science! mucking up their Lysenkoism. They just want to call Tea Party conservatives stooopid and anti-science! Spit. Rinse. Repeat.
Today's conservative lesson plan: understand the meaning and history of Lysenkoism: "Lysenkoism is used metaphorically to describe the manipulation or distortion of the scientific process as a way to reach a predetermined conclusion as dictated by an ideological bias, often related to social or political objectives." [and millions have suffered, been persecuted and died because of it].

This video is completely meaningless.
He was asked two questions, and he answered two questions.
End of story.
I would have said sure kid, when I make your parent’s electric bills necessarily skyrocket, ya’ll have to sell the house and move to an apartment in the city. You won’t have a backyard but you can play in the alley.
