Here in NJ we crossed that bridge fifty years ago; the cities fell, and the children of the white refugees never forgot. De facto segregation is the law of the land, and there is little chance of that changing any time soon. Many whites are leaving, and those that remain have new neighbors that are usually Asian or Hispanic; blacks have made little headway leaving the cities, and even there are being squeezed by Hispanics.
Could it be another attempt towards gun control? Perhaps.
It could also be a push to federalize all police forces by causing such a ruckus about the Ferguson police force that people will want all new police departments there and in other largely white dominated such departments across the nation. I may be way off base here but nothing would ever surprise me coming from the Feds.
You speak too bluntly for the American people, who want you to “be nice.”
MO has a lot of liberal whites some of whom are smart enough to keep their mouth shut around their testy neighbors.
For all intents & purposes police are “federalized” already in the sense that the fed determines who you can hire (in terms of quotas) and by involving themselves into any law enforcement issues when it behooves them. If they are to be officially federalized, I would think it would be because of cost more than anything else; nearby Newark NJ laid off 160+ cops during a record-setting homicide wave because there simply aren’t enough taxpayers (corporate or individual) to provide law enforcement for the welfare reservation.
Why are the NJ whites so liberal then?
People can place nice all they want; they publicly mouth the required PC tripe, then live their lives in a much more candid, less PC manner.
They are liberal in all things (except race) because it is the northeast and much was originally settled by Dutchmen instead of Puritans.
That’s OK. Jesse Jackson says that white businesses should be forced to stay in towns when the blacks take over.

Don’t worry, the non-profits will set up “job training centers” for those who can’t read or write, for jobs that don’t exist, on the sites of burned-out businesses that employed people. They will do so without feeling any sense of irony.

No interstate highway within miles of the capital. The Constitution states it must be within a certain distance of the mouth of the Osage, which I believe to be the approximate geographic center of the state.
AND to show their community spirit they'll offer to help with voter registration.
