Cruz speaks about how he spoke to the mother of Julia yesterday.
Discussion about New Hampshire press and national press .The local press was not focused on the “world on fire”.
Asked by Joe, and Cruz answered: The tough question is: How can we trust you?
Joe brings up other issues such as crony capitalism. Do you talk about these things?
Cruz responds that working men and women are hurting and the way to resolve it is economic growth.
Joe asks what type of action? Cruz responds that tax reform and regulatory reform will improve the economy. What would your tax reform look like? Perfect, ideal, acceptable Perfect is flat tax and abolish IRS – I don’t have the rate yet.
My attitude on compromise is the same as Reagan’s.
Mika – art of a deal – Letter to Iran – was the intention to get in the way of negotiations?
Cruz: The letter was intended to stop a bad deal. I was involved in negotiating a treaty…
Cruz – if we didn’t have a president like Obama, we wouldn’t need to make it clear our constitution gives congress a vital role.
Cruz – is it your position to reign in the president? Mika - ……down the road to war.
Joe – no Mika! Joe calls Mika to task …
Cruz points out that administration to the media instead of giving congress information.
Cruz talks about Nicaragua and Woodrow Wilson examples as times when congress weighed in.
We don’t have a supreme leader like Iran. …..This is a unilateral president.
Joe refers to reaction in the press as letter being unconstitutional, precedence, etc. and reiterates Cruz’s history lesson and adds that democrats wrote a letter to president of Nicaragua.
Mika says this history lesson is deflecting from the discussion.
Willie Geist asks Cruz about his run for president. What’s the argument against running?
Cruz talks about support on the trail (response to text request). In New Hampshire, first story that broke was from CNN, buried in the 20th paragraph there were substantially larger groups that came out for me than for Bush or Walker and there was more enthusiasm. That used to be called “news”. It is called burying the lead.
What was the headline? ”Cruz startles little girl and snubbed a goat”.
Geist gets back to the question – why not run- what’s the argument against it? Cruz said they are measuring support.
Mika: Little girl thing was cute I think you are very nice. Cruz says you’re going to get grief from your listeners.
McCain says he is sorry for signing that letter. Cruz said, “I would sign it and I would sign it in large print”.

Let’s take a look at democrat rhetoric.
Hardly a day passes where someone on the left doesn’t accuse the republicans of wanting people to die. When my congressman was pushing for an EPA funding cut they even had a number of people he would kill over a year if he got his way. (176,000 per year)
Doesn’t matter, the lie is already out there and the denizens will never hear the truth. It is not in the playbook to right an intentional wrong.

Yeah he apparently had an issue with a woman he worked with at a NY law firm and was involuntarily hospitalized for observation.
He got hit with another restraining order the other day (on his birthday LOL) for harassing his ex wife.
