I am almost there. Who we elect as President may help but it may be too late and there is too much opposition from both sides of the political spectrum to turn the country’s downhill slide around.
“Walker is fine, but whats wrong with Cruz?”
I love Cruz! But Walker has a solid record of accomplishment as an Executive. Cruz does not.
Walker/Cruz!!!
Well I gotta admit - adumbrate sent me to dictionary.com. Learned a new word today.
RE Santorum: He’s a good social conservative, but he’s an unreliable fiscal conservative and he’s VERY unreliable vis a vis the Tea Party and the establishment. He’s an economic illiterate, and not above being pro union thug when he thinks he needs to. He’s shown many instances of political opportunism.
Besides that, he simply does not have any “it” factor whatsoever. No talent. No charisma. No leadership skills, no inspirational skills. He’s just not that talented.
If you think being gov of a small state is anything like being the executive you mentioned, you are way off base. I love Walker, but Cruz has a solid record of accomplishment in standing up to the Washington establishment. Walker does not. Cruz Walker 16! (BTW let's get over this 50 years out of date notion that President is an admin or exec position. It is not. It is a direction setting job. Look at Obama: he's a poor administrator, but he's accomplished almost everything he wanted to because he did set that leftward direction and surrounded himself with other lefties to carry out his wishes. )
With Christie/Bush/Rubio on stage, I would never say, “I wish that was Romney.” I’d say, “that might as well be Romney, I wish it was a conservative instead.” With Walker or Cruz, I wouldn’t say “I wish he went to college A” or “I’m glad he went to college B”. I’d just say “I’m glad he has good judgement and good values.”
Well, him and Ted Cruz I like. The rest are pretty much right out.
I could vote for Walker, I only hope if it’s Walker v. Hillary that we can GOTV. Hillary would be another disaster and we cannot survive 8 more years of Leftism after what Obumma has done.
Hmmmm I thought Skinny was all hot for Chris Christie....que paso?
evidently he is!!!
You are too much of an optimist. Joe.
Ann is as full of crap as her one-time hero Romney was. If Scott Walker has Ann Coulter on his side, that's a liability.
There's always plenty of room for RINOs in a Republican primary -- the more the better. But there is only room for ONE limited government conservative in presidential Republican primary. The more I discover about Walker, the more he pans out to be a RINO. Coulter's praise is just that much more evidence to support it.
Many right-minded but lightly-informed conservatives have a the mistaken idea that Walker is just as good as Cruz, that "either one will do." That alone is enough to destroy both of them in a Republican primary, but worse is that Walker is a cheap knock-off flawed imitation of the real Cruz.
Amen. And unlike any of the other candidates, Walker is regarded by many under-informed but well-meaning conservatives as being "as good as Cruz." Therefore he poses the biggest threat to depriving Cruz of enough votes to get the nomination.
Increasingly, Scott Walker supporters are using language and tactics much like the Romney supporters of old, from accusing those who reject Romney of acting out of "jealousy and hate," to misrepresenting Cruz's take on Obamacare as calling for a "replacement." As if getting rid of a liability was the same as replacing it.
If we're going to win this thing, we -- and that includes guys like Walker, if he really does have the country's best interests in mind -- need to unite and throw support and enthusiasm SOON behind ONE Republican primary candidate. There's only room for ONE in the primary. Ted Cruz is the only Republican who has consistently proved himself to be the real deal in limited government constitutional conservatism.
CATHERINE: You want to call me selfish? You can curse me for all I care. Nothing is worth endangering my relationship with God.
What's so pathetic, Catherine, is that napscoordinator is SO OVERWHELMINGLY SELFISH that she willingly, happily voted to empower a guy who thinks it is right for the government to FORCE adoption agencies to allow homosexuals to adopt babies and children.
That is as selfish as it gets, naps. You are the poster girl for "selfish."
Your facts only... And you can be wrong. Much is going better with the world incrementally, like it got worse incrementally. Your handwringing is simply false prophesy. Do you give out next week's winning lotto numbers, too?

The behavior of a candidate's supporters speaks volumes about the candidate.

Ann knows Cruz means what he says, she is hoping against all hope Walker does not and the statist game continues.
