“Im guessing she got on a truck hauling produce.”
I don’t know. My whippet/boxer would chase squirrels and rabbits to Argentina.
‘Dognapped.’ Ditto that.
When we lived in New Mexico years ago, we got the cutest puppy for our 3 daughters (which became 4). He was in our fenced-in backyard and we think he was being observed, and was dognapped when we ‘weren’t looking’ - It was one of the saddest events in our daughters’ lives.
It was suggested (can’t remember by who - ) that obtaining dogs like this brings the bucks when they’re sold for
‘experimenting - -’ Makes me sick.
We’re in California now, and there is no roaming of dogs allowed where we live. In many cities here, dogs must be kept confined in our yards. Many are ‘house dogs.’
When we used to travel thru other states, we were shocked to see dogs just roaming about. Not good for them, and not good for a person walking around anywhere in the dogs’ vicinity.
“I am going to hug my good dog who is right here at my feet.”
Chris, I’m following your lead with my dog who’s also lying by my feet at this late hour wondering if I’m going to go to bed any time soon. They ARE our BEST friends. And they deserve our care and love.
