Sure, and when (if?) you later get a job, no one will care if you are incompetent. They will have all the compassion and understanding of the liberal school system, I have no doubt.

quote “Student representatives in Virginia, however, argue that the new grading system would provide an easier path for students to get into college”

lol

at which point they will flunk out and be stuck with student loan debt to boot!

Nice plan idiots!

Getting INTO college is NOT the goal, the goal is to GET AN EDUCATION!!!!!

“As soon as a kid gets even one zero, they have no chance of success,” O’Connor said, noting that the student has to then achieve perfect results to recover academically.

This guy can't do math either. The effects of a zero on an assignment or test depend on the course and what other grades there are.

Wait until “real life” introduces them to a zero balance (or less) in their bank account.

And we want to ban Zero from the White House (and America).

Can we work a deal here?

Way to go. Screw these kids up for life. They get out of school stupid and thinking life will carry them like the school did and end up in jail on the streets on welfare or dead.

Sounds like they have a lot of zeros. The crowd running the place, and the digits at the end of the state “education” budget.

School administrators in the city of Fairfax are prepared to ban zeroes to spare students’ feelings.

they should redistribute grades. People with A's should have 1-2 letter grades lowered and given to the ones who are flunking so that they can pass.

ALL water is from sewage water - filtered by the earth or through evaporation. It really is a great design!

I remember a kid in school (somewhere around 4th or 5th grade) getting a -5 because, not only did he get every question wrong, but he also misspelled his name. Our teacher was one tough lady.

That means that 50 will be equal to zero.

The only way you could possibly get a zero is by not doing anything, or completely failing. Most teachers at the grade-school level give you at least 5 or 10 points just for putting your name and date on the page.

If you look at high school, different teachers do different things. Some drop up to one or two of your lowest scores over the semester/year, almost all teachers allow you to make corrections for half or quarter credit.

If a student is getting a zero (or even mostly 50s and below), there’s something seriously wrong with either the student or the teacher, and simply requiring a 50% isn;t going to help the student and figure out the problem. What happens is 50 becomes the new 0 baseline.

Reminds me of the “token” Lt. we got from Boston College ... was dumber than a fence post but had a nice personality and played well with others.
