Brown's a piece of liberal crap, as you say, but there are many liberal pieces of crap who'll vote for him if he runs for President. Ed Rollins, Reagan's former campaign manager, sees Brown as a very strong darkhorse candidate and the attack on Cruz is a clear indication he's getting close to making a run.

Rollins is a very shrewd political odds-maker and I pay attention to what he's thinking. Much will depend on how things sort out with Hillary and whether John Kerry gets his Iranian peace deal. If he does a Nobel Peace Prize will follow and he's likely to jump into the Presidential race. It's getting very interesting.
