California Governor Jerry Brown: Ted Cruz 'Unfit to Be Running' for President
NBC News ^ | 03/22/2015

Posted on 03/22/2015 9:11:05 AM PDT by E. Pluribus Unum

California Gov. Jerry Brown said in an interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" that Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz's position on climate change makes him "absolutely unfit to be running for office."

Responding to comments made by Cruz on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," Democratic Governor Brown said of Cruz, "That man betokens such a level of ignorance and a direct falsification of the existing scientific data. It's shocking and I think that man has rendered himself absolutely unfit to be running for office."

A long-time environmentalist, Brown is dealing with a severe drought in California. He recently announced a $1 billion aid package to help affected residents and prepare for flooding

Brown said the drought being experienced in California could be traced to the buildup of carbon from coal and other sources, and that leaders need to take measures to prevent dire consequences.

"This is a serious matter we're experiencing in California, as kind of a foretaste. But there is no doubt that into the future, we're going to have more problems," he said.

Mad Jerry Geezer

The Jesuit Gangster, still screaming Burn Them!

Geezer works feverishly day and night to import tens of millions of more Mexicans, and screams when he can find no water for them.

He ranted against power plants, oil drilling, desalinization, building homes, building highways - the world suffers under his idiocracy.

And he screams yet again when anyone points all this out to him. He was warned 40 years ago. In his fevered madness he ignored it all.

I’m still waiting for these global warming fascists to explain how a natural phenomenon, if it even exists, can produce such a wide range of bad effects (drought, flood, hurricanes, excessive heat, excess snow, higher crime rates, polar bear deaths, baby seal deaths, baby puppy deaths) and yet not a single good side-effect. It implies global warming is both sentient and pure evil. Of course the reality is these Leftists are self-haters of Man and Global Warming is merely their surrogate for hatred of all Mankind.

Brown said the drought being experienced in California could be traced to the buildup of carbon from coal and other sources, and that leaders need to take measures to prevent dire consequences.

This junk science crap and the powers behind it are actually starting to scare me. The Soviets and Cuban Communists put anyone who disagreed with their political dogma into mental institutions or gulags. Democrats have been working for years to criminalize right-wing politics and it looks to me as if they're close to succeeding.

Anyone who's studied real climate science based on what's happened to Earth's climate in the past knows that CO2 has absolutely nothing to do with warming. In fact CO2 increases occur some 600 to 1,000 years *after* warming trends begin. There have been many times in Earth's past when atmospheric CO2 levels were much higher than at present and temperatures were significantly cooler than now. The AGW propaganda is all a bunch of socialist hogwash aimed at destroying capitalism and establishing world socialist government run by unelected U.N. bureaucrats.

If Brown -- whose Presidential ambitions are obvious -- really wants to know what's causing California's drought he should look into the real scientific phenomenon known as Pacific Decadal Oscillation. It seems to be the culprit in California's current and past droughts.

DROUGHT

This brown debris is merely a brown stain on America. Who care what this senile LIB-loser has to say about anything? brown is a poster-child of why it is important to pay absolutely no attention to LIBs...they deserve continuous ridicule and derision.

Jerry Brown is full of crap, but we all knew that already.

There have been longer, and far worse droughts, in California’s history.

The 120,000 acre Irvine Ranch, later the Irvine Company, in southern California’s Orange County was created in the 1860’s in large part because of a devasting drought which made the land cheap to purchase.

Some scientists believe that in pre-recorded history, California made have had droughts that lasted for longer than a century.

I remember droughts in the 1970’s and 1980’s when I lived in California. Eventually, the winter rains returned.

It would help if the powers that be would build more resevoirs and artificial lakes to capture the rain and run-off during normal rainfall years, instead of letting it eventually run into the Pacific Ocean.

Save the delta smelt and California go dry.

Delta Smelt are easy and fun to catch, just the same, they are also easy to cook and eat! Using simple ingredients, you can prep some dishes sure to hold up your strength for the rest of the day.

Step 1: Clean

Scale and gut them for the prep. Heads may be left on.

How does one scale a fish? Hold it down on it's side, rub the back edge of your knife against the grain of the fish. This may take time and can throw about some scales, but it's part of the fun and process!

Gut it by cutting (w knife or scissor) from the bottom of the hill to the small opening just between the small fins located about 2/3s of the way toward the tail, and pulling the head up and downwards. The head and innards come out in a clean sweep, but this one-stepper can take some practice.

Step 2: Pan Fry

With some olive oil to coat the bottom of the shallow pan, drop in some of the Delta Smelt and let each side cook for about 3-5 minutes depending on your heat level and preference.

You can season the fish (before they hit the pan) salt, pepper, garlic powder, lime salt -really, anything you like!

By attacking Republicans this way, aren’t the Democrats running the risk of alienating independents?.../s

This, coming from the guy who hasn’t ever had a coherent thought pass through his head?

The more I hear about Cruz, the more I like him. I wish he didn’t resemble Bill Murray quite so strongly.
