School cancels ‘American Pride’ themed prom after it’s deemed not ‘inclusive’

LEXINGTON, Mass. – Lexington, Massachusetts may have played host to one of the first battles of the American revolution, but 240 years later, “American pride” is considered offensive to the school system.

Students on the dance committee at Lexington High School voted for “American Pride” to be the theme of this year’s prom, which was scheduled to be held April 10.

But administrators overruled that decision, saying it “excludes” other nationalities and canceled the dance.

Students swiftly and roundly criticized the move.

This is the wrong kind of theme for a prom, and has no place in the new America.

Now, if they want to have a communist-themed prom, that would be a different story - a "promunist" theme is evidently AOK.

But if it was a “let’s all cross-dress, and be gay” theme?

I noticed that thread problem too.

Perhaps the moderators deleted #1, thus leaving the usual path to replies non-operational.

Only an America-hating leftist could do that.

And these “so-called” American “adults” will stand proudly next month and swell up with pride as they relate the pivotal part their town had in the creation of The United States of America.
Webster will have to define “hypocrisy”. One may take pride in one’s home state, but “they” are making it more and more difficult.

“But administrators overruled that decision, saying it “excludes” other nationalities and canceled the dance.”

If I recall correctly, other nationalities that are living in America are American. If they don’t like “American Pride” then they shouldn’t be here.

This prom news should be right up O'Reilly's alley....we'll see if he picks up the gauntlet.

What we do know is that he'll give Rove 10 minutes tonight to trash Ted Cruz.

The Bloviator should wake up....the hate-America fifth-column concentrates on brainwashing the school kids such as these. School kids DON'T listen to Karl Rove.

GET SOME YOUNG AMERICANS FOR FREEDOM-TYPE KIDS AS GUESTS ON YOUR SHOW ONCE IN A WHILE, BILL....

So-called “educators” strike again! What fools. They should be kept away from children. These degenerates are so mentally weak that they should be forced to wander the country dressed in sackcloth, beating themselves with twigs.

So “other nationalities” don’t want to be here and don’t like where they are? I’m confused. I thought the deal was they wanted to be here and wanted citizen status. Why would anyone want to be somewhere they don’t want to be and seek membership in something they do not like? Why are we having a debate over immigration reform? “Others” seem to not want to be here.
