I find it interesting he's being compared to Obama.

Unlike Obama, you cannot find speeches from a year or two ago that diametrically contradict speeches he gave last week.

Beware false messiahs.
Given what we have seen with Obama, that someone has an appealing persona and can give a great speech is no assurance they will be a successful President.
The comparison is a valid one.

Except of course when you look at Obama’s voting record as a Senator, and some of his on-the-record commentary that was WHOLLY IGNORED by the media before both elections.
But hey, who’s counting, right?
Imagine a media that’s intellectually honest, and investigative, like they used to be.

Well if you consider Obama is a hard core leftist bitch devoted to lying and scheming his way in opposition to all that is good, fair and just, and consider Cruz is the 100% opposite of that; a Godly, conservative, true American hero who loves America, then yeah.
Both are extreme examples of their craft.

A better comparison would be between Obama and a teleprompter.

They are actually trying to compare Ted Cruz to OBAMA??? We refuse to hang that bag of excrement around any Republican’s neck, but this pathetic rag, published by the NYT, is now trying to equate the two! That is a real low for someone whose wife is sucking swill out of the GOP consultants’ trough.

You’ve got to vote him in to find out what he’s made of or as San Fran Nan would say,”You’ve got to pass the bill to find out whats in it.”

I am glad Cruz declared early. He has time to overcome challenges and stumbles. If he is really a viable winner, this will become apparent. If he ultimately is fake or weak, this should also become apparent, hopefully in time for somebody better to succeed.
You go, Ted!

I find it obscene he's being compared to Obama. Obama was lying.
