Ted Cruz vows to repeal every word of Obamacare and Common Core if he becomes president. He would abolish the IRS, flatten the Tax Code so Americans can fill out their taxes on a postcard, and finally, finally, finally secure the border. To which Lindsey Graham says: not going to happen.

Sounds like a Presidential mandate to me. "To which Lindsey Graham says: not going to happen."
Sounds like another one. So which mandate would a real conservative support? Not Lindsey's I'm thinking.

And now we see the GOP-e working hand-in-glove with the DNC media to try and knock Cruz out early.Graham's right, you know. Let's just say, for a moment, that Cruz gets elected - he still has to work with the RINOs and liberals in Congress. We rail and scream every time obola talks about how he is changing things with the stroke of his pen, but we're uber excited about Cruz, who apparently we believe can just change things with the stroke of his pen. Even IF Cruz gets elected (I re-registered R just so I can vote for him in the primaries), he still has to work with Congress, and Congress is against EVERYTHING Cruz stands for. Graham, in this case, is completely right. Cruz's platform will never come to fruition, even if he is elected.

He can through executive action, as proven out by Obama.2 wrongs don't make a right. If we expect Cruz to fix everything via E.O., then we need to shut the hell up about obola's EO's. Double standards suck, but in my experience, the GOP is all about double standards. We hate BIG GUV, unless it's OUR BIG GUV....

Exactly.
Funny how no one ever mentions the bitter, angry liberals shrieking about whatever.

You cant govern the country based on being angry
Moreover, Ted Cruz (the presumed target of Graham's finger-wagging) does not come across as angry. He seems very upbeat. Not to mention the fact that progressives have been touting their own "rage" and "anger" as a virtue for the past 40 years.
Graham has internalized the mandatory faux "niceness" - and hence, weakness - that progressives have demanded of conservatives for years, even as progressives themselves play hardball.
To: Obadiah
Ah, you beat me to it concerning liberal anger.
To: C19fan
Thank you South Carolina for inflicting this jackass of a Senator on America for another six long years.

The SCs voters sure fall for the right cut head fake McCain Mini-Me every time. The padawan learned that Jedi mind trick from the Jedi master himself.

Liberal anger = a virtue
Gay anger = a virtue
Black anger = a virtue
Palestinian anger = a virtue
Muslim anger = a virtue
Hispanic anger = a virtue
Feminist anger = a virtue
Transgender anger = a virtue
Democratic anger = a virtue
Illegal aliens' anger = a virtue
The "Muslim street's" anger = a virtue
Conservative anger = scary, fascist, un-American
Thus think progressives and RINOs.

Thank you for posting the positions Ted Cruz holds. My one problem with your post is that I don’t like having to think about the word MAN-DATE and Linda Graham at the same time.

That’s not exactly true. President Cruz can reverse every executive action Obama has taken with the stroke of a pen. He can also enforce immigration laws something GOPe candidates won’t do.
