WASHINGTON — U.S. Army Special Operations Command is pushing back against alarmist claims that an upcoming U.S. military exercise is a preparation for imposing martial law or subduing right-leaning groups and individuals.
Conspiracy theories about the exercise, known as JADE HELM 15, appeared online this week. Some commentators railing against the event referred to an online slide show allegedly created by USASOC, which outlined a special operations exercise slated to take place across multiple states, outside the confines of U.S. military bases. In the slide show, a map of the southwest region of the United States labels Texas and other territory as “hostile” or “insurgent pocket.” The document also refers to coordination with law enforcement agencies.
Army Lt. Col. Mark Lastoria, a USASOC spokesman, confirmed that there is an upcoming exercise called Jade Helm 15 which is scheduled to take place this summer at locations in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, California and Nevada. But he denied the event is preparation for some sort of military takeover.

Well, with my experience with the military I’d say your tin foil was wrapped a little tight.

I thank you for your military service. If I had served in Special Ops I would probably feel as you do now. But I didn’t, all I know is what I see...and I have zero faith in this administration, or our leadership at any level. To me that is not tin foil thinking, it is viewing a situation from every possible angle. I know nothing of FEMA camps, an invasion from UN troops, or this particular military exercise as a ruse for martial law. I just know this president’s actions on all matters involving the safety and security of our country, as well as his purging of the upper echelons of all branches of the military. With all of that in mind, I view everything our current power structure does with extreme caution.
Well its not like they would admit it. Get real. They are also apparently doing urban exercises so splain that one away.
The truth is that the Federal govt knows we are headed for an economic collapse and they know the S will HTF and they are trying to figure a way to take over when Barky declares martial law and gives himself a 3rd term. This is not some benign military exercise.

It’s just a large scale FTX to train the various HQs in running UW operations. To do that they need to actually move people around and do things. If it was all on paper it would run perfectly.
It has been many times in the past. I’ve been a part of some of them. It will be done in the future.
It’s no big deal but the tin foil is flying off the shelves. Like I said before - all the folks worried about it should sign on and be role players in the FTX. They would learn some interesting things about how it all works - at least their small view of the big operation.
So like I said - come back and find this thread when it’s and apologize for all the tin foil crap this thread contains.
By the way, the Clintons did leave office when Bush was elected. Bush did leave when Obama was elected and Obama will leave when the next President is elected.

My advice to you is bookmark this thread & when the FTX is over come back to it and ask everyone on here directly if they’re freedoms were violated in any way by posse comitatus.
We both know that the answer will be NO and that’s not because everyone misunderstands the posse comitatus act but because this FTX is routine and the conservative Right Wing has been commandeered by the tin foil nutjobs like Alex Jones et al.
