He had better be prosecuted anyway. PERIOD. I am fed up with Dems getting away with ‘murder and other criminality’ because the Republicans lack the ‘testicular fortitude’ to hold the Dems accountable!

I was half way expecting him to say that he wanted to spend more time with his family. That’s the catchall phrase, right?

A Republican Attorney General would be almost certain to initiate a criminal investigation into Reid’s abuse of his political power in a brazen intervention in the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) issuance of EB-5 visas to investors in a Las Vegas casino and hotel that was represented by his son, Rory Reid,

Good riddance. I'd like to see Harry get a 20 year sentence.

Obama would probably, however, pardon him.

So best policy is to wait until Obama is gone.

I hope they go after him even after he retires.

It would be nice if it were true but the idea that a republican would actually prosecute a democrat is a bit fanciful for my taste. I believe the top brass of the democrat party could all be perp walked for a number of various offenses, but I have no expectation it will ever happen.

Possible and hopefully he will be prosecuted.

If that's not the reason maybe the brother of this "excercize machine" knows the reason.

It wouldn't surprise me if the mafia is after him too.
Meanwhile, good riddance.

I can’t imagine Reid is scared of being prosecuted by Republicans. I think the retirement has something to do with the “excercise” beatdown.

Maybe he's expecting a pardon from Obama.

But then again, being Obama and his penchant for bus rides...he just might throw him under at the last minute.

They were investigating him in 2004 with a GOP president. Too late now.

There should be nothing standing in the way of his prosecution whether in or out of office.

Too many of these clowns slide by simply leaving office and being forgotten.

And that’s just only the beginning. Reid could be tried for a major violation of Federal law against violation of privacy and disclosure rights over the possibility that he may have gotten the private IRS tax return filings of Mitt Romney—violations that could land him a couple of years in Federal prison.
