Scott wrote here about Harry Reid’s announcement that he will not run for re-election, a decision which, Reid was quick to say, was not the result of his “elastic exercise band” accident. In January, I wrote OK, So What Really Happened to Harry Reid? I noted the injuries that Reid suffered on New Year’s Day, in Las Vegas: multiple broken bones around his right eye, damage to the right eye, severe facial bruising, broken ribs, and a concussion. Was all of this really the result of losing his balance because an elastic exercise band broke? That seems unlikely, to say the least.

Exercise equipment "accident" number one in May 2011.

"...he slipped and fell during a morning jog in the rain. Reid leaned on a wet car near his home in Washington, D.C.'s Ritz-Carlton hotel and tumbled to the ground." per the UK Daily Mail.

He ended up with a dis-located shoulder and a bruise on the left side of his face.


Ole Harry was in a six-car chain-reaction accident in October of 2012 in which he "experienced rib and hip contusions," per Reid's office.
"'Harry Reid looks like he went ‘through the windshield of a car,' Dick Durbin says" per the Washington Times.

Exercise equipment "accident" number two that occurred in January 2015 in which he broke some ribs and facial bones.



Maybe he is just have a spat of bad luck these days. It could happen to anyone! Really!

How many times have you listened to Dingy’s smart azz mouth on the floor of the Senate and wanted to take a swing at him? I can only imagine him smarting off to the mob.

Since the accident occurred sometime on New Years day, I am guessing adult beverages had something to do with the accident. Maybe he tripped and impacted some furniture or fell down some stairs.

Another guess of mine is he goes through extensive testing for the eye socket injury and to see if there are any brain injuries. Results come back that he some form of dementia.

Reid's story is laughable.

I wonder what a forensic doctor would say about Reid's serious bruises if he was able to examine Reid's bruises on national tv?

For instance, I wonder what famous doctor Baden, he of O.J. Simpson trial fame, would say about Reid's severe injuries. I don't think that Baden's evaluation would conclude that Reid got all those injuries from falling off some exercise machine. Laughable.

If you believe Reid's story, then I have some oceanfront property to sell you in Reid's home state of Nevada.

Remember when Bill Clinton signed away the Kaiparowits hard coal deposit (largest in the world) in Escalante, Utah, by turning it into a National Monument at the orders of the Riyady Brothers? The only other similar deposit was in Indonesia. He's a crook, but the REAL crooks are crookeder.

If they were rounded up the first couple of weeks it wasn’t O’s doing, he just couldn’t stop it.

Same thing happened with Clinton.

I have a neighbor who’s on blood thinners for heart disease. Any bruise makes him look like he was beaten. The effects take a long time to disappear. That may be part of the answer.

I can't recall if Reid said he was on a treadmill but if you fall on one of those at a brisk speed (you key in a specified pace, then HAVE to keep up) it could knock the crap out of you, especially if you hit the side bars, especially if you are a 150-year-old lizard like Harry.
