Republicans see Obama as more imminent threat than Putin (& Assad): Reuters/Ipsos poll

A third of Republicans believe President Barack Obama poses an imminent threat to the United States, outranking concerns about Russian President Vladimir Putin and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

A Reuters/Ipsos online poll this month asked 2,809 Americans to rate how much of a threat a list of countries, organizations and individuals posed to the United States on a scale of 1 to 5, with one being no threat and 5 being an imminent threat.

The poll showed 34 percent of Republicans ranked Obama as an imminent threat, ahead of Putin (25 percent), who has been accused of aggression in the Ukraine, and Assad (23 percent). Western governments have alleged that Assad used chlorine gas and barrel bombs on his own citizens.

Putin claims to fight us in Ukraine. We don’t fight back. I agree that Obama is more imminent, but don’t be fooled by fascist Russia: they are after us, Hitlary will gladly assist them in finishing what Obama had started.

I would include the democrat party as a clear and present danger along with the propaganda media.

Assad? 23% think he is a threat to us? That is nuts.

Assad is no threat at all. At the present, Putin is no real threat to the USA either. He has his hands full keeping Mother Russia alive and screwing around in the Ukraine

Then there is ISIS, aka Daiish. Barack is the greater enemy than Daiish and Daiish has the capacity to do the most immediate harm of all external enemies. Obama is a greater enemy than Iran which is the most dangerous of American enemies at present

There is no American will to be rid of him

Only a thrid? The Kenyan communist is BY FAR the biggest threat to this country. By far. We are talking about a guy who is hell bent on giving nuclear weapons (no less), to Iran, America’s biggest energy, even as they continue to scream “death to American” in the very week that Obama wants to give them nukes. Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were tried for treason for less.

Obama uses racist gas and corruption bombs on his own citizens.

Count me in that group that sees him as a bigger threat than Putin.

The point is the driveby media/DNC objective of vilification against conservatives.

Never mind that the Left and journ-0-lists felt the same way about Reagan and Bush... That kind of poll result was not deemed worthy to report—or even to poll in the first place.

No, the narrative is that conservatives and Republicans HATE the fact that a BLACK man is president. They even think overseas tyrants are less of threat... Due to Right-wing hate and racism, of course.

As Obama said, “Why can’t you bitter clingers get in the back seat and eat your peas? I won. I have a phone and a pen.”

Putin has the good sense not to try to be a dictator in the US

is putin trying to get iran the bomb?

is putin driving up our debt?

did putin hand machine guns to drug dealers in the hope they’ll kill someone and then be able to hit the 2nd amendment?

did putin funnel shoulder launched missiles to IS?

did putin out Israel’s top secret nuclear information?

did putin encourage hundreds of thousands to millions of people to invade the US from south america?

did putin crater the US housing market by forcing loans to people on welfare?

hell... did putin steal an old guys a social security number?

Reminds me of the company where I work. The inept son of the owner is taking charge. His screwy ideas are more of a threat to us than our competitors. We’re being destroyed as a company from within. Same holds true for Obama and the USA.

“Threat” implies the potential for doing harm. In that sense, Putin would be more of a threat, because the harm is mostly potential, not actual and ongoing as is the case with POTUS.

Russia’s Lavrov, Kerry, Britain, France, Kerry and EU representatives all sitting around the table with Iranians.

And liberals have the gall to tell us there
are no “death Panels”.

For God sake... we've known that for quite sometime.

The QUESTION REMAINS as always: WHEN WILL SOMEONE STEP UP AND CUT OBOZO OFF at the KNEES?

Where are those ACTIONS that speak louder than WORDS?

Obama treats conservatives and Christians much worse than he treats Putin, Iran, Cuba and Venezuela, so why shouldn’t we, in return, see Obama as more of a threat? After all, Obama tells his followers to “punish our enemies” (ie. conservatives).
