Clearly terrorists. Why do we lie to our citizens? I don’t believe the government— ever.

Yes, reports were that one person was killed and the other was seriously injured.
Two men - dressed as women. Go figure.

If you were a known felon, unexpectedly approaching a government checkpoint in a stolen car, a man dressed as a woman, with a companion who is also a man dressed as a women, with an illegal gun and cocaine in your possession, would you have stopped or made an attempt to get away?

From the Washington Post:
Law enforcement officials familiar with the case said the two men in the vehicle were dressed as women and that they had earlier robbed another man of the SUV from a motel on Route 1 in Howard County.
One of the officials, who spoke on the condition they not be named to discuss a pending case, said the incident began in Baltimore City on Sunday when the three met. The exact circumstances were still being sorted out by police. Several law enforcement officials said the trio spent the night at a Howard County motel.
Two men, dressed as women, at least one of them purportedly a known felon, spend the night at a motel with a third man, from whom they stole an SUV, with cocaine and guns possibly involved, after which they end up driving to Ft. Meade and end up crashing into a police SUV during a gunfight.
I could be wrong, but somehow that doesn't sound like the setup for a typical terror plot, rather it sounds more like Eric Holder's or Tim Cooks people having a typical weekend 'party'. Then again, typical terrorists are not the sharpest knives in the drawer, so who knows...

We had a guy run the west gate at Fort Leonard Wood a couple of years back. He had an AK-47 as I recall and shot up a lot of MPs and other officer’s vehicles.
Turns out he was a recently released felon that was driving up 44 to go rob a bank in the St. Louis area and mistook a detour ahead sign as an indication to exit on the spur that runs into the West Gate. He didn’t know what to do when asked for ID at the gate so he just ran it and started shooting at anyone that tried to stop him.
There is a Ft Meade exit that is kind of surprisingly a dead end of that nature off the divided parkway — I remember it from some years ago. High idiots running and try to ram their way through and out of a box.

One other possible contributing factor: If you were a known felon, with multiple parole violations, which meant that any apprehension would be an instant ticket back to jail, unexpectedly approaching a government checkpoint in a stolen car, a man dressed as a woman, with a companion who is also a man dressed as a women, with an illegal gun and cocaine in your possession, would you have stopped or made an attempt to get away?

Use your eyes and brain before calling someone a liar!
In my post #35 - where I posted the 1st photo on this thread - I called it a body.
When another poster replied & said it may be a bumper, I found & posted the close up in post #48, and then changed my mind.
Someone may disagree and tell me, but someone has got to be blind or brainless to call me a liar.

Try this thought experiment:
Imagine what it’s like to lose 50 or 60 IQ points, say to the level of an above-average-intelligence Obama voter.
Then think it through - it may make more sense then.
