Biding your time, taking the high ground and ‘planning’ has worked so well for the GOP, hasn’t it? Only it wasn’t for our benefit.
GOP and conservatives’ plaints against Democrats haven’t worked because a Democrat sloughs off the truth like water off a ducks back. Is Hillary out constantly trying to assuage conservatives? Debbie Wasserman Schultz? Any of them? No. If they get caught in a faux pas, lie or misstep, it’s answered with their standard lines and then back to their canned propaganda - no more questions.
Instead of talking to reporters and addressing stuff from groups far removed, take his case to his constituents and his legislature.
From my own personal viewpoint with regard to elected officials in my state for the Federal Offices, all I want them to do is to stop anything Obama and his ilk want to do, period. They do that or try earnestly and that’s all they have to do, frankly. For Georgia’s laws, I don’t give a crap what other states or organizations say. If they don’t like the laws try and get them changed the right way.
Pandering to these groups never works. They just want more, the more you cede to them.
