U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) today released the following statement on the discriminatory law recently enacted in Indiana:

Sen. Mark Kirk (Uniparty - IL) is channeling CT Gov Malloy. Will Sen. Kirk support repealing the IL version of RFRA?

So, if I don’t want to take part in a homosexual ritual, I’m “un-American”.

That may take the homosexual cake as the stupidest thing ever written by a supposed Republican.

That is essentially what the A hole said.

Well, Senator Kirk, suppose you run a small Christian gift shop, and in walks
Senator Kirk wanting you to special order a copy of the art work “Piss Christ,” which you consider blatantly blasphemous. If you refuse on religious grounds, can Senator Kirk sue you?
Suppose you run a Kosher or Moslem butcher shop and Senator Kirk walks in with a bag full of bacon. You tell him to leave because he is offending your customers. Can Senator Kirk sue you? In either case, are you a bigot merely because you adhere to an ancient and well known religious tradition.

I remember when Kirk was chasing Sarah Palin around Illinois begging her to endorse him.

As a child in the 70’s I found it unfathomable that the Nazis were able to do what they did. But the older I get the more I realize how truly easy it actually was.

The ignorance and vitriol is astounding on the face of it. Surprised a Senator could be so uninformed. Calling people with a conscience “bigots” is no way to increase civility.

Illinois, like all the other states, have a law which keep the government from imposing on a person's religious beliefs. Indiana's law extends that protection against actions by individuals.

Thank God, Mr. Kirk, that America has a man named Ted Cruz.

And it’s just too bad that she also has a whole slew of worthless trash like yourself.

Wouldn’t suing for alleged discrimination, hence bringing in the government to coerce and punish, impose upon a person’s religious beliefs?

Honest question.

You immediately assume the courts will rule against you.

Senator Kook...er Kirk:

I'm sorry but I believe the law was trying to protect a small bakery who wants to STAY IN BUSINESS because they don't want to support a gay marriage.

If I go to a Muslim meat market, can I sue if they don't have pork, Senator Kook?
