I wouldn't think anyone would use a pizza parlor to cater a wedding. So why did they feel the need to say that they wouldn't do it? They would have been better off laughing at the reporter and making them out to be the fool for asking. But hindsight is 20/20.

Yeh. Just laugh it off. Then, they spoke out, because they were foolish enough to think that good citizens still have a right to participate in the public discourse.
