A federal panel that helps set federal dietary guidelines is recommending Americans eat less meat because it’s better for the environment, sparking outrage from industry groups representing the nation’s purveyors of beef, pork and poultry.
The Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee, a federally appointed panel of nutritionists created in 1983, decided for the first time this year to factor in environmental sustainability in its recommendations. They include a finding that a diet lower in animal-based foods is not only healthier, but has less of an environmental impact.
The meat industry is lashing back, contending the panel has neither the authority nor the expertise to make such a judgment.

I eat animals that eat Vegatables.
We can’t even get vegatables here in Boston Area grown in The United States. Mexico is the source of Produce it angers me to no end. I will not eat any vegatable grown in Mexico. I wish more people would complain about imports of food.
My opinion is Farmers are growing Corn to make ethanol instead of crops to eat.

Just go on a “ Vegan Diet “... Just hang out by the WHole Foods and ask the hippies there if they would like to save the planet by be invited to “dinner” at your house. Make sure not to mention that they will be the main dish FOR dinner...
Be careful not to get a Vegan who smokes dope or you will be taking an after dinner trip...

(BTW, an actual vegan diet will in fact kill you, as the only natural source of B-12 is from animal-derived food products.)
