It’s terrible that in the course of American history, whites went from being benevolent landowners with an end game to cowering corporate drones injecting money into a corrupt, redistributive system for the benefit of those who want to procreate without consequence and commit criminal acts without conscience.

Ours is truly an upside-down world.

“The 5 dumbest ideas that have taken root in America”

Just looking at the headline before reading the story, I concluded that most of them were liberal inspired. Close to true in reality.

That is a good list. I'd add this whole notion that socialism, and/or that socialist policies are a good thing. Do people simply not have an appreciation for history anymore? Socialism has a 100% failure rate at creating happy, prosperous societies. Why the {expletive} would anyone promote or advocate for socialist policies with that kind of track record? Oh, yeah, 'cause they can make them sound/seem soooo good.

If you want to be depressed, type "socialism" into google and the first thing that pops up is a graphic that says "Socialism: the radical idea of sharing" Makes me want to puke.

The real bad news is that socialism doesn't exist without a bit of fascism at the top to keep order. Check out the Wikipedia entry on fascism. Once you get past all the slanted {expletive} at the beginning, skip down to section 4, Tenets. Read those and just try to tell me the "progressive left" isn't using every single one of those. The "left" have become fascists.

That somehow tolerating every divergent viewpoint, lifestyle, and idea makes us stronger and unites us.

That our rights derive from government.

That there is no such thing as transcendent right and wrong.

That a collective of morally flawed people will be more perfect than the morally flawed individuals that make it up.

And, most of us turning a blind eye towards what is really happening in the world. We are belly-aching about material things and lack of all comforts we should have regardless of if we are rich or poor all the while ISIS is training in mind and body in the roughest terrain there is! We are in turn eating popcorn and unhealthy foods sitting in front of the TV and/or watching the latest movie, etc.

Without change soon, we’ll be a slaughterhouse like the countries they are preying on heavily now.

#6 Tax policy has no effect on individual behavior. We can tax earners as much as we want and the revenue potential is unlimited.

I'd like to add a few:

6. Anchor babies are automatic US citizens.

7. Fiat currency.

8. Social Security is "insurance."

9. Muslims can be integrated into American society and participants in the social contract that is the Constitution.

10. Public employee unions with tenure for school teachers.
