A free e-book! What is not to like?!

Today, I’m excited to announce the launch of a new eBook that I’ve been designing and editing in order to share for free with the world – Galatians: Selections from Martin Luther.
Martin Luther is a theologian whose writing has changed my life. Luther, in a day when the Church hijacked the message of the Gospel, stood boldly for the proclamation of Christ alone. In a world that literally sold people forgiveness for a few bucks, Martin Luther came onto the scene recovering the message of the scriptures that said, “The price has already been paid.”
But here’s the thing about Luther. He’s intimidating. He wrote a ton and now that we are about 500 years removed from the date of his writing (not to mention it was written in a different language), it can be a bit tough to dive into the works of Luther.
I want to change that.
I want more and more Christians to dive into the depths of the theology of Martin Luther. I have no doubt that many of the distinctions that are found in his writings are needed in today’s churches and in our conversations about the scriptures. And one of the best places to be introduced to Luther is in his commentary on Galatians.
This commentary on Galatians is truly the work of Martin Luther… but for the everyday person.

Here’s what you can expect:
First, it’s shortened significantly. The entire commentary is great, but it can be a bit intimidating for the average person.
Second, it’s divided up with headings, chapters, and scripture references that make it easy to read and more devotional in format.
Third, art accompanies the text. As you’re reading, I want you to be able to stop and pause as certain phrases are called out with art.
Fourth, it’s truly Luther. I’m not changing Luther’s words. So when you read the commentary, it is truly the words of Luther as translated by Theodore Graebner. I’ve taken parts out but I didn’t change the style of his language itself.
So how would I describe this book? It’s Luther, but for everyday life. It brings a work that was written hundreds of years ago and remains relevant in our day and puts it in a package that is accessible for the average person. And who knows, maybe if there’s enough interest, we can find a way to get this thing printed.

Claiming the Church “hijacked” the Gospel & discounted Jesus is pretty inflammatory & ambiguous; hardley a persuasive statement & widely painted.

Sure, and keeping a few Jews for commercial reasons would keep the Pope in matzo. Wouldn't need the rest, so expel them, much better than writing you don't like them.
Luther, an imperfect man of God. The world has been blessed because he was blessed by God.
You imply where nothing was inferred
I think you have that backwards. That I inferred you implied.
I never want to hear Martin Luther quoted in a church or by another Christian. Please read what the man wrote about Jews. The Nazis quoted Martin Luther at the Nuremberg trials.
Sorry to hear you say that. I think the man’s wrong words should be acknowledged and disdained....But the truth he spoke about biblical principles ought to be shared, too.
Luther indeed was a man of extreme emotions and words.
Well known ministers who teach and preach Reformed theology today are not anti-Semitic; far from it.
And the Catholic church treated Jews like the Nazis did except for the ovens. Does that mean we don't have to hear from Catholics anymore on GW, economics, or frankly anything connected to religion? Get some perspective.
