Sorry, CNN requires an excerpt and most of the important stuff is down in the article. He basically says we can wrap it up with a bombing campaign and it wouldn't take boots on the ground.

Yes. It’s nonsense. American rules would be too restrictive anyway. The easiest way to stifle Iranians is to pledge that in case of Iranian aggression, an international coalition will guarantee regime change in Iran (and mean it).

I suppose it depends on what kind of bombs he's talking about.

I can think of a type of bomb which would completely take care of Iran in very short order (possible as short as one day).
