A week after about 150 tea party activists rallied in opposition to U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander's re-election next year, tea party favorite Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky said here Monday that he hopes Alexander doesn't get an opponent and wins re-election.

Alexander, R-Tenn., has aroused tea party ire for his votes for the immigration reform bill and other measures opposed by the hard right.

Looks like the Rand Paul presidential campaign will implode upon it’s self on it’s own with out any help or attacks from the main stream media...

Rand Paul has no one to blame but him self.

What will Palin do for McCain this go around

JD wants to know...lol..,,after she likely killed his last try..,,is anyone even challenging Queeg?

We have lost twice in a row here

If Cruz or Walker don’t get it we’re 3 for 3

We were 2 for 2 with Bush....we’ll sorta.....99/00 sorta went down memory hole

Boy that worked out good

Does anyone here have humility to reflect on freeperdom acumen?

Myself included

You’ll get an answer sooner rather than later. Watch her reaction when this becomes a regular news item.

Had almost forgotten about that Blanton era.

The last days of his administration and him

trying to open the prison doors.Emergency

meeting to kick him out.Evil man Blanton.

Hated Alexander was the one on the ballot.

Held my nose on that vote.

Paul supported all the old bull RINO’s even though he ran for Senator
as a Tea Party conservative.

He has been everything BUT a Tea Party Senator.

Rand has stabbed the Tea Party in the back time for them to endorse Cruz.

Rand hasn’t a chance to win the nomination. I doubt he’ll last beyond Iowa

A lot depends on whether the Kentucky GOP changes over to a caucus system for 2016, which will mean he can run for President and the US Senate at the same time. Otherwise he'll have to make a choice on one or the other before Iowa.

Rand is loose cannon. Bad aim most of the time.

His own size 8.5 elf feet seem to be constantly in his cross hairs.

It makes it easy to get his feet in his mouth.

I think Paul is “aiming” for the RNC cash cow. That in itself is telling.

He is a hooker, selling out his principles for cash and votes.

Some Libertarians are supporting Cruz and I suspect their cash isn’t going into Rand’s coffers.

Yes, and unfortunately Rand will take more voters from Cruz & Walker than Bush. Rand Paul seems to be have lot of followers on Hot Air.

What is the last time you saw conservative candidates for presidential race quit voluntarily? Newt? Santorum? They only quit if they run out of money.

Rand Paul thinks he is a conservative, and is unlikely to quit.

RINO candidates are different. Recall how Romney quit race in 2008 to clear path for McCain?
