I don't think that the US government will allow switching from fossil fuel to renewable resources. The US has been dependent on oil and fossil fuel since its inception. So what would happen if the switch happened in a very short span? The other day I came across an individual's invention from the third world country who invented a
bicycle that propels on air. Producing compressed air is cheaper than fossil fuel and simple. Still there is no interest from the world governments. It is only a propaganda and monopoly.
