I look at MCRD San Diego fondly and recall my three months there back in ‘83. My first thought upon arriving was “what the hell did I get into?”
Three months later my head and heart swelled with pride as I was called Marine for the first time.

Well, it's not QUITE that drastic
....but it was 49* this morning!
A bit weird for April in West Texas!
I'm really not complaining though!
It'll be in the 100s before we know it!
....and I'll HATE that! LOL!
