More women in the United States have no children now than at any other time since the U.S. Census Bureau began keeping records in 1976. An average of nearly half, 47.6 percent, of women between the ages of 15 and 44 did not have children in 2014, up from 46.5 percent in 2012, according to the Census Bureau. The average of women without children between the ages of 15 to 44 in 1976 was 35.1 percent.
The general fertility rate in the United States fell for its sixth straight year in 2013. It stands at 1.86, according to The New York Times. A fertility rate of 2.1 is required to have a stable U.S. population.

I was ready to "help you see your error" when I realized that my coffee hadn't kicked in yet.....
I was speaking to a business professional last week. He and his wife are in their mid sixties. He was sharing how his back injury and his wife’s bad knees had them both in bed. He said they had no children, neither wanted them, but now they are totally alone with no one to help them in their infirm years. I could tell he had regrets.
Bingo.
We could use a thinning of the herd.
LOL - my mother use to say something along these lines: “Nature makes the sex drive strong and teenagers stupid so the races continue...”
