That's not the deal. She wants to give only $1,000 taxable income deduction per year, for two successive years, which only on the state tax would be pennies off the tax due, on the dollar of taxable income, in any given year. It doesn't do any thing for the federal tax.
Don't you get it? She wants to buy something on the cheap, any single item of which would be more profitable to sell for its full market price and lawfully owned. And none of this would be granted to the owner of a gun unlawfully possessed.
This bill will not get one unlawfully possessed gun off the street. How stupid can you get?
