Haha! You really are making this easy for me.
A chief basis of sin is believing the lie that whatever feels good to us or makes us happy is God's will.
People do the same thing with values, they think that going along with something because they believe it will make others happy is also God's will.
There's a reason for the saying, "the road to Hell is paved with good intentions." No sane person sets out to purposely make themselves miserable, but it is often the result.
“Youd have had to see the thread to understand my phrasing.”
Is the thread completely gone?
You think the gays are going to be impressed by that?
All he did is lose potential voters without gaining a single one.
I agree with you all, but I’d now love for someone to ask each of the candidates the question: “Would you attend a friend’s gay wedding?”
I see only one possibility of a ‘no’ and you know who that is. I’m quite certain ALL of the others would answer as Rubio has with that one exception. But, I’m in trust but verify mode. I want even Cruz to answer the question.
If he screws it up, then I’m voting for Marlowe if he’ll let me be VP and get a Scoobie Van.
A year and half of gotcha questions for all GOP
This weirdo Ramos framed this question to hurt Rubio and get precisely the reaction it got here
I would not go myself but that question has little to do with being President
We have a family friend a former sitter whose pregnant by boyfriend without marriage of course
A left leaning Pollyanna hipster girl with right wing parents who forgot to take her pill.....wonder why right?....The get knocked up on purpose
Anyhow she is having a gender unveiling party....never heard of that and I thought to hipsters gender is irrelevant
My wife is hesitant to go cause she disapproves of the situation....she lives with the hard left sire....a somewhat capable high end cook
So....these decisions happen....my wife hasn’t made hers yet
You have to examine some calls that could drive folks from your life permanently...I have precious few thankfully...libtard acquaintances or kinfolks but even though I might avoid them on occasion I don’t shut the door completely
I wouldn’t be too hard on Rubio...it’s a set up question
Marriage is a sacrament that was given by God BEFORE the Fall; He made it very clear that it was to be between a man and a woman. Unfortunately, it's been made a mockery of in the past century (no-fault divorce, sexual revolution, contraception, etc.) and what we appear to be in now is the end game where marriage is abused to a state of meaninglessness.
Yes, but would he attend a gay honeymoon?
glad I could help....
As for the gay wedding thing... I wouldn't go to one just to prove a point, but I also wouldn't avoid going if it were someone I truly cared about.
Rubio's response is probably close to what mine would be. I don't see gay marriage as a truly Christian ritual, but I think my care about the individuals would trump that.
Sorta like how I don't go around telling Jews they are going to hell because they don't believe Jesus was the Son of God, but I would go to a Jewish wedding if I were invited.

My husband and I attended the wedding reception of our lesbian neighbors back in, I believe, 2007. Fortunately, we were not invited to the wedding, so were spared that decision. I would definitely attend the funeral of a friend or family member (sister).
Put an X through that one. Pandering to the gay gestapo will get him nowhere.
The bottom line is that there is no such thing as a homosexual marriage. Beyond that, these folks are throwing a party and their friends are giving them gifts because they have orgasms in dark places.
Congratulations on losing the conservative ‘latino’ vote and negating any ‘cross cultural pull’ you'd have with voters.
I would never go to a gay wedding. The thought of dudes kissing (and more) is repulsive. I would go to a lesbian wedding if the lesbians looked hot or cute.
What we’re celebrating she didn’t abort?
hell she’s glad to be preggie...abortion was never an option......hoping to force him to marry her....ain’t working so far
It’s the question of whether one is showing approval or not
It’s the same question in both circumstances
Man I would sure hesitate .....there was a reason society used to be more rigid
We are asked in the name of good manners to endure crap we don’t like
I have a distant young relative who has a daughter by some nameless black guy who’s in and out of prison
At large family stuff she passes the baby around like a trophy
Like her own personal living breathing MLK award
She’s a despicable slut to me.....a slattern
But you can’t blame the child
Life is full of crap you endure
But it goes back to how far you go to shut folks off
Shunning and banishment isn’t new is it
Did they have pizza catered? :>)
