Most people think what SCOTUS says is 'gospel.' They don't know the true, limited role of SCOTUS. SCOTUS was delegated the power to hear cases and decide disputes PERIOD.

These idiots need to stop talking and start acting. Impeach and remove.

That is what I’ve been telling my Rep. and Senators. It’s past time to act.

I hope everyone will contact their Congressman and tell them to Vote For Yoho Bill!

Congress doesn’t need to stipulate anything in new ink. It is only their considered judgement which determines the extent of high crimes and misdemeanors. If Yoho compiles a list of infractions he believes describe the impeachable activities of this president, he should get about lobbying the appropriate parties to move the process along. This latest step looks too much like posturing.

No new ‘bills’ are needed. Since they’re referred to as lawmakers, they feel as though they should churn out more volumes to cover situations that were already covered by law.

"These idiots need to stop talking and start acting. Impeach and remove."

Bingo!!! As noted, the proposed definitions include a lot of the myriad of impeachable acts Traitorobama has already done. The House should have impeached him long ago. If the House were really serious about this bill, their failure to impeach Traitorobama should have resulted in throwing themselves out of office for dereliction of duty and failure to defend the Constitution.

Someone needs to clue him in.

This isn’t the 18th century or the 19th century or even the first half of the 20th century.

It’s the 21st century.

A psycho president can start a war and before he can file his papers for impeachment Washington D.C. wont even be there.

You stop the president before they screw up, when you first realize they are not fit for the job, not after.

Why not go Louise Slaughter on them and add that if the President does any of these things, he will be “deemed” to have been impeached?

Worth repeating over and over until the “idiots” in Congress
actually ACT!

A new law to make the president obey the old laws? Kinda like the Senate Foreign Relations Committee’s new resolution?

Skeeter suffers from a myriad of afflictions.

He is a certifiable narcissistic sociopath AND he’s rather stupid.

“If approved by the full House of Representatives, the measure would put the Obama administration and future presidents on notice that perpetrating any of the specified high crimes or misdemeanors will result in articles of impeachment being voted on.”

Good now all they have to do is vote themselves the
backbone to use it. For a bunch of boneless sniveling
cowards they sure have the tough talk down. We should call
this the “grow a pair law” because at the end of the day
no matter how many laws they pass they will still be lacking
a pair to enforce them.

Good piece but the issue and key words in the text are........”If approved”.

Odumbo has already got his veto pen in hand.

why is a new bill required? it’s already spelled out in the Constitution under Article II Section 4:

“The President, Vice President, and all civil Officers of the United States shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

unless their goal is to limit the things that are impeachable by ‘forgetting’ a few types of impeachable offenses.

and yes, giving $5 BILLION directly to the enemy after releasing FIVE of their top enemy commanders while US troops are actively engaged against them is an act of treason.

selling or giving automatic weapons to known drug dealers (fast & furious) is a crime. those guns being used in the taking of life also makes the seller an accomplice ... another crime.

selling arms to enemies of the country is also treason (benghazi)

removing classified materials from secure facilities without authorization (hillary’s emails) is a crime punishable by many years in prison.

etc... etc ...

He will, of course veto the bill. They need to do their Constitutional duty and ACT! Let’s hound their offices until they hear us!

I went back and reread the article. This is a House Resolution and would go into effect if passed by the House. Odumbo won’t be involved.

Rep. Yoho's House Resolution 198 has been referred to the House Judiciary Committee.

Never to be seen again.
