Former Obama Pilot: TWA Flight 800 was not blown up by a faulty fuel tank.
NY Daily News ^ | 4/15/15 | Andrew Danziger

Was TWA Flight 800 shot out of the sky?

As a former pilot, that is a question I get asked about all the time.

I’m no conspiracy theorist, but let’s be clear: Yes. I say it was. And I believe the FBI covered it up.

Duh. I knew this the day it happened.

I happened to be home that day.

The news that it happened broke on MSNBC (that is back in the days when it was a reasonable news station, not a propaganda branch of the White House).

Within MINUTES of the breaking news, a graphic came on explaining how it was a center fuel tank explosion and *definitely* not a missile.

The watermark on the graphic was ‘Property of the CIA’.

Later, I saw that same graphic repeatedly used, but NOW it said, “Property of the FAA’. That watermark was in a completely different location on the graphic, as well.

I knew within 10 minutes of the reporting of the plane being downed that it was an enemy missile, just by how the authorities were acting.

If you were the military and it was your wayward rocket, you’d probably want it kept secret as well.

Yeah but the other 300-plus members of your crew would be talking like crazy.

But yet no terrorist group has claimed responsibility.

With the propaganda ministry nature of the press, all it would take is a word from the White House: "Al-WhakiSuckas is claiming responsibility. Don't mention that, please."

I question the timing, given I strongly believe Obama wants to discredit the name Clinton. I do think we were lied to about this, though.

Precisely my view.

It wouldn’t necessarily require active cooperation and concealment by all those agencies and people. Assuming that the FBI had primary jurisdiction and control over the investigation, it would only take a word from a senior official to the supervising agent to suppress a particular kind of information (such as interviews confirming an object shooting up towards the plane). The supervising agent could collect all the witness interviews and give instructions that he deems them unreliable, etc. Do you think at that point a couple of field agents who did the interviews are going to risk their careers to speak up publicly?

IOW, it is possible that the whole effort to block the terrorist attack narrative could be narrowed down to a small handful of people, all strongly motivated by career ambition not to break ranks.

But they did say they had a specific reason, a short in the fuel tank. They even recall automobiles when they have a specific reason that causes them to crash or endanger its occupants.

We have the hundreds of people who saw a missile rising from the sea to meet the plane.

And HOLY CRAP my story was corroborated, about what I saw on TV within minutes of the news breaking:

Just as I described, only this screen-capture is of CNN and not where I saw it, MSNBC.

Possibly. George Stephanopoulos may have let the cat out of the bag on TV back then when he ‘accidentally’ referred to the aircraft being ‘shot down’ ...................

The one glaring account were multiple people on Long Island reported something rising out of the water seconds before the plane exploded and these were all not one location on LI.
I watched live, on the spot interviews on CNN of people out on boats that made those claims...I wonder what happened to those interviews?

Not necessarily. If it was military it could have been a small team on a small craft perhaps testing a new system and it went awry. Again, I have no idea. But it’s plausible.

“We know from the witnesses that a missile left the ground and struck the plane”

Name the witnesses please.

That's why I've said that some terrorist group may have jury-rigged a 9K33 Osa SAM system so it fits in a larger pleasure boat. The missile used on 9K33 system can reach as high as 40,000 feet, well within the range of TWA Flight 800 at the time (around 13,500 feet). The altitude and speed of the 747 at the time still makes it very iffy that a Soviet-era MANPAD could hit it--but the 9K33 missile certainly can.

I don’t think they test missile systems on active flight paths. I could be wrong about that.

In a conspiracy, it is necessary to have the fewest people involved as possible because someone always eventually talks.

A bomb is the most plausible conspiracy theory.

Thing is, it can only be a conspiracy of one ... anymore than that good luck keeping it secret no matter what. It will come out ...

The problem with that theory is that it lacks motive.

The evidence of a shoot down, and subsequent cover-up, is overwhelming.

The question is, why no one involved in the cover up is in jail.

I myself find it hard to believe the center fuel tank theory.

I have a friend who's an engineer at Boeing and nobody there believes the official story either. I also have a NASA friend who worked in the materials lab at KSC when I was there. He got debris samples and found rocket motor residue.
