About 300 US paratroopers have arrived in Ukraine to train the Ukrainian National Guard which is fighting pro-Russian rebels in the east, the US army said in a statement.

The troops from the 173rd Airborne Brigade arrived on Tuesday and Wednesday in Yavoriv, western Ukraine, to spend six months training three battalions of Ukrainian troops, said the statement dated Thursday.

Actually it was President McCain who started this conflict.

Senator John McCain on Sunday told thousands of Ukrainian protesters camped on Kiev's main square that Ukraine's destiny lay in Europe and that it would make Europe better.

“Ukraine will make Europe better and Europe will make Ukraine better,” he said to crowds protesting against President Viktor Yanukovich’s U-turn in trade policy away from Europe towards Russia.

The guy's gonna start WW-III before he's done.

If you want WWIII, then keep doing the most obvious way to cause it, allow Russia to reconquer an empire, making them strong enough to threaten the world again.

Reagan knew how to deal with Russia, yet you guys are complaining that Obama is being too strong in not submitting totally to Russian military goals.

Go Ted Cruz! Arm the Ukrainians.

>>So, in other words, when Litvenenko claims
>>Putin is a pedophile, we accept that too.

Some also accept that, having achieved strategic success in demoralizing America, Comrade Putin is now propped up as an icon of “conservatism” by the Oprichni Russian Orthodox state-establishment.

The effect is further enhanced by contrasting Putin against the limp occupant of the White Hut.

Why don’t you hop on a plane and go over there and kill all the Russians you see instead of volunteering other people’s sons and daughters do it.

I’d rather see them hunting for ISIS in the US.

I notice, not one peep about the supposed child born on the Swiss Italy border to Putin’s girlfriend about 6 weeks ago. Yet, when Putin was out of the public eye, we were suppose to believe this was the reason he was not seen. Just how gullible is the public suppose to be to this disinformation?

How about the 8 Spanish Nationals arrested for fighting with the rebels on returning to Spain? They said Nazis are up fighting with the rebels. Yet, we have to hear the same disinformation over and over again.

Why don’t the Russians stay the heck in their own country instead of invading others?? Doh!

That stupid statement by Cruz will cost him the nomination.

So far, Rand is the man.

I already have two honorable discharges, one from Nixon, and one from Reagan, I was part of NATO forces in Europe in the 1980s under Reagan.

My son served during the Cold War, my brothers, my step dad and step brother all served during the Cold War, my step brother and I were both part of the 1973 global alert against the Russian threat.

Did you serve, or are you the guy trying to get us and our sons and daughters killed when you succeed in rebuilding the Russian threat that people like me and Reagan worked so hard to end?

Juan McCain.

The same chicken hawk who handed Obama the 2008 election on a silver platter.

Observe what we didn't hear back then:

"I'm glad my opponent brought up the economy.

Mr. Obama, isn't your campaign's national finance chairwoman Penny Pritzker [in 2015 now the Secretary of Commerce] and didn't Ms. Pritzker's Chicago family-owned Superior go bankrupt because of it's innovations in sub-prime ACORN farming?"

Game, set, match - hello President McCain but nope, DIDN'T hear THAT.

Does McCain have any investments he should disclose... of a Military Industrial nature?

Why start shyte to win... when just going through the motions is profitable enough.

Russia hasn’t invaded Ukraine. Yet. If they do it will be all over before we can react.

"I managed to do a helicopter jump after drinking tequila all day one time, and another time I got away with something worse. Jumping drunk is not recommended, nothing went wrong,"

Were you drunk when you jumped into this thread and started making accusations like a Pavlovian dog in response to the Russian dinner bell?

Well I guess, it's because Ukraine and Georgia have been part of Russia for centuries.

They (U & G) have been bought by greedy Russian haters, for the purpose of breaking up what remains of the new Russia.

How exactly does questioning Obama’s motives “represent Putin and Russian military invasions.”?

Go sober up.

>>Russia hasn’t invaded Ukraine. Yet.

But it’s very theatrical. Just like their pwning of the State-department’s computer network and letting everyone they know were there.

when we get a man as a leader, I will consider other options.

this is not a left/right issue. this is an out of control man child in the white hut who will do the wrong thing. keeping as many weapons out of his hands as often as possible is the way to go for now. there is an ISIS training camp right across the border in Mexico. that is a bigger concern.

*All former soviet Russians to me.*

I don't believe you know how much the Ukrainians distance themselves from their Russian past.

Or worse, a Soviet Controlled “flexible” sock puppet.

This is a left/right issue, and so far your position is to the left of Obama’s and you want him to be weaker, not stronger.

Thank God that he is at least doing more than you want done, and helping to reduce the problems that a more Reagan like president will face against this Russian threat.

He needs to take the advice of Ted Cruz, and do more.

You’ve got it backwards, FRiend. Russia has been murdering their neighbors for centuries. I’ve seen the graves myself. Have you?
