The hopes of up to some 5 million undocumented immigrants hung on arguments heard in front of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans on Friday, as President Obama’s controversial go-it-alone approach to immigration reform faced a critical legal hurdle.

No it can’t and won’t. That damned word “reform” is the crux of the matter. You know when a robber walks into a bank, he’s looking to “reform” the bank and its practices. There will never be an effective barrier constructed on the southern border by a court. And until this guy is out of office, there will never be any attention paid to any sort of court order, so the point is utterly moot. No court judgement nor action will ever be a path to solving this problem. And that goes for after he leaves office as well.
