A pipeline could refill lakes and reservoirs daily and probably would not cost half of what the high speed train to no where is going to.

Diverting water right at the ocean seems like a pretty good idea. It just gauls me to see Southern California not take responsibility for it’s own water needs.
Israel gets over half it’s fresh water from desalinization.
If that small nation can do it, our nation should be able to.
I live here in Southern California, and it’s embarrassing to look this stupid.

That's what I've been crowing about for months....just run it right down the I-5 corridor -- the land and rights of way are already in place.
