Obama's presidential rival, Sen. John McCain, was among those who spoke in Clinton's favor.
"This nation has come together in a way that it has not for some time," said the Arizona Republican, on the Senate floor for the first time since the inauguration.
Voters "want us to work together and get to work," McCain said.

Remember, this is McCain. For him, these statements are earth-shaking. He’s outright abandoning her, and he’s a total RINO puppet. Someone with a lot of clout (maybe even herself, trying to hold onto donations while losing) seriously wants her gone.
She was very successful at wreaking destruction, which is what she and Obama are attempting to do.
When asked a follow-up, if he’d vote for her for president, McCain said, oh yeah, certainly, she’s qualified for that.
Hannity has been hammering this on the radio for two weeks or more. Hillary's advocates—even "neutral" ones—have been having hummnna-hummnna-hummnna moments afterwards! :)
