If the Libyans love Italy so much, why didn't they just opt to STAY PART OF IT?

Katie Hopkins has said she ‘doesn’t care’ about migrants dying while trying to leave their countries by boat.
The motor-mouth says that even if she was shown “coffins and bodies floating in water” she would not be moved – it is instead the British lorry drivers she feels sorry for.
Her comments, in her latest column for the Sun, come following harrowing reports over the last couple of days of migrant deaths at sea.
Katie went to say she believes the UK should "get Australian" in the way they deal with immigration because “they threaten them with violence until they bugger off”.

Buy a thousand 100-man rubber inflatable boats from China. Every morning....drag one of these out with 100 refugee folks out of some Libyan harbor. Go twenty miles north and just dump them there....for $500 a person. Each day, you clear $50,000...in one month $1.5 million. Best gimmick investment strategy ever devised. No one from Europe cares enough to stop your action.

yeah boy I hate to sound cruel but if you make it understood that under NO circumstances will there be a rescue team, people will stop coming, or at least the migration will slow down.
Those in Europe who are gnashing their teeth over this must have forgotten that they are not doing all that well in many ways. It may be a better way of life for the migrants, but they are in no shape to take on more burden lest they sink
A more human way of expressing the same goal would be that European governments should follow the US model on Cuban refugees at sea - intercept them “feet wet” (still on the water) and send them home. No exceptions. [However, they should follow the same model even once illegal aliens are caught “feet dry”]
Hey I agree with her, it’s about 60 years past time that western nations defended their shores from the invasions of the 3rd world.
Our Muslim & Welfare problems are directly linked to this IMO. Nobody cared when “colonists” boats sank several hundred years ago.
I see very few women coming into Italy this morning. It’s almost all men - not surprising, since reports are that women and children drowned. So, what kind of men are these? They probably pushed ahead of women and children to be saved. How many members of Isis are getting into Catania?

Nice solution, but I’d rather all the bleeding heart libs who condemn Hopkins be forced to take in a family or two of those benighted refugees. They can share their homes with those people. We’ll see how far their pity goes. I’ll bet it wouldn’t go very far after a week or two.

I am sickened to think about all those immigrants in Italy. Where will they go? They will flood the towns and set up ghettos, forever ruining that beautiful country as they breed like rats, bringing their infestations with them.
I liken it to the zombie hordes in World War Z as they were surrounding the walls around Jerusalem. Once they get over the walls, they infest.
We have relatives who live in Catania who are left-wing America haters (except for us, of course). I can’t wait to see their reactions to this disaster. No more cries of it’s all BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH’s fault.
