Scott Walker's seeing the light about stopping and reversing the invasion of the US might be recent, but he's articulating the issue unequivocally and clearly so that it will get support across the political spectrum. What people are sick of is the games supposed conservatives play to get elected, then traitor us in DC before they even have time to unpack.

Can you recognize the cognitive dissonance between these two sentences?

I can. What I'm saying is that Scott Walker's most recent statements don't leave much "wiggle room" (pathway to citizenship, tech needs workers etc, blah, blah, blah) and it might be enough of a rallying issue to get minorities and other lower income workers on board. This issue is the one they should be embracing. It's about restoring the American dream for US citizens.

It would be nice if Scott Walker had a DC voting record to back up this new rhetoric, of course. But at least he's articulating the issue.
